No Higher Calling: 12/28/22 Follow After Christ, Fight the Good Fight of Faith, Man of God ~ 1 Tim. 6:11-12

Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. ~ Psalm 71:4

It is happening…the enemy is seen and knows it. The same enemy that has us deal by not dealing, the same enemy that has rendered us ineffectual through our own choices of avoidance over confrontation, safety over risk, and the most absolutely devastating choice of all; the choice to see the ELEPHANT in the room as a piece of furniture rather than the wide open door of invitation to every evil imaginable…taking our children, our property, our dreams, our hope and faith, our self-respect and honor, and ultimately our lives. Until now.

It has managed to infiltrate so many different social circles in our lives because we have been groomed and conditioned for most all of our lives to see it as anything other than what it actually is. It is, at its core, diabolical serpentine narcissism in nature, knowing who it can control and ultimately possess. It looks for children who have suffered abuse or neglect, the weak-minded, people who lack integrity, principle, character, confidence and courage…addicts, and alcoholics. Porn is the flashing neon sign that says to it, “Take me, I’m yours!”

Believe it or not, it sees our schools and churches as candy stores because these are the places where we are taught to include it, embrace it, to love and respect it. It feeds off the energy of others. Think of the two natures lesson from Romans 7, and the works of the flesh versus the fruits of the Spirit in Galatians 5. The former, left unchallenged in our circles will drain, disrupt, and ultimately destroy, while the latter will be experienced as uplifting and even joyful.

Chambers writes in Keep Inner Vision Clear, “Conscience is that faculty in me which attaches itself to the highest that I know, and tells me what the highest I know demands that I do. It is the eye of the soul which looks out either towards God or towards what it regards as the highest, and therefore conscience records differently in different people. If I am in the habit of steadily facing myself with God, my conscience will always introduce God’s perfect law and indicate what I should do. The point is will I obey?” You just read the very reason you will never hear the name Oswald Chambers mentioned from the vast majority of church pulpits in America today. If you are in one of these you need to come out of her.

I had a very interesting conversation with a good shepherd yesterday about our 19^th Amendment being the beginning of our end…as we are watching wives lead their husbands away from the green pastures and still waters…he said, its too late to turn back, that will never happen. And I said, yes, if it were up to man, but never say never where God is in control. Here’s a bold truth that is sure to cost me a lady friend or two. If Eve was in the bathroom leaving Adam to get the door when the Devil came knocking, we wouldn’t be in this hell-hole of a mess we’ve created for ourselves. But I digress. Just now, brother Mark drops this nugget: A man will put his happiness aside for his woman, but a woman will put her man aside for her happiness. That, of course is a joke…isn’t it? But if am to steadily face myself with God to know His perfect law, then my inner vision turns crystal clear. God had a very good reason for creating man as the head of home and family. The 19^th Amendment decapitated him. But as long as we’re on the subject…

I had this déjà vu BREAKTHROUGH vision this week through a delightful merging of Ezra 3:11-12 with Acts 2:1 after enduring a hopeless season of having allowed ourselves to be separated and siloed by this enemy, we by God’s grace are finding ourselves at the doorstep of our deliverance. IF, we will obey and decree from our hearts, “I WILL HEAR WHAT GOD THE LORD WILL SPEAK!” It won’t be easy…many of us will have to make some Ezra 10:3 sacrifices, but a small price to pay for a blissful eternity with the Father! …as sister Veronia drops “Mushy Mess” referring to yesterday morning’s driving conditions. “Why does God only speak to you,” the soldier asked. “God speaks to everyone, I just listen,” Joan of Arc relied.   

God grant we may not hinder those who are battling their way slowly into the light.   (Workmen) 

WOW…Thank You God! Ain’t it funny how time goes, the good times fast and the bad times slow. Just now You gave me a GEM of an idea: The Workmen Pastor’s Pledge! Our Constitutional Compliance coach and mentor GR created the NY Public Servants’ Pledge as a requirement to hold public office last year. Since our Salvation is infinitely more important than our Constitution, can I get a 2^nd for the motion to install the Workmen Pastors’ Pledge in the by-laws of every church in America as a requirement to hold a position as sacred as that of a church pastor?

The Holy Spirit cannot be fooled…When a man gets rightly adjusted to God his conscience staggers him.    (Shad. Agony) Think about pre-Road to Damascus Saul, and Paul after his adjustment as you read his Acts 23:1 testimony to the Sanhedrin here: And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day. We are ALL set in our ways and dancing in the dark, until we are rightly adjusted.

Back to the spirit that seeks desperately to keep us apart from true connection to God and our deliverance. Brother and friend Dr. Aaron Lewis shared some good advice the other day, “There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who add to your life and those who take away from it. It’s your duty to discern the difference.” Pastor Dave Bryan of Glad Tidings Church in Yuba City, CA, who I will have the pleasure of meeting this Summer takes our need for discernment quite a bit deeper for the simple reason that without understanding the nature behind the taker, there is little to no hope of their deliverance. Unlike the “two kinds” Dr. Lewis mentions, there are countless categories and types that range from benign to aggressive to the darkest and deadliest evil you can possibly imagine…If Anthony Weiner’s laptop could talk. For a better understanding of the darker spirit and the occult realms I would highly encourage you to read The Witchdoctor and the Man: City Under the Sea. It is the true story of Bishop Samuel Vagalas Kanco. Suffice to say, regardless of the kind or malevolent nature of the spirit that has entered your circle, your FAITH in God’s 1 John 4:4 Word is all you need. It CANNOT face a person armed with Holy Spirit who sees it, or remain in a circle of believers once it knows it has been discovered. It is absolutely powerless against Holy Spirit, and will do anything to survive…yes, even to flee into a herd of swine (Matthew 8:28-32). The very good news is this; the light of truth is shining brighter, spreading, and rippling out, and it cannot stand the light. So, contrary to what it needs for us to believe…

Lastly, check your circle of friends. Stay armored up in His Word. Remove the idols in your life. Pray and fast often. Find a true church blessed with a good shepherd. And reduce or eliminate the “Splinternet”!
