If I were the Devil, I’d make truth abhorrent, unfair, and cruel while labeling those who defend it a “Groyper, anti-woman incel, antisemitic, actually racist, and all-around vile person.” I’d split the Book of truth into four hundred versions and divide men into as many factions. If I were the Devil, I would paganize the holy so people would worship me without realizing, expel the Holy Spirit, and feed the cancer of their own profanity. If I were the Devil, I’d replace the vision of heaven with television and Hollywood, centralize monetary control, and hire the most immoral God-hating men I could find to run both. If I were the Devil, I’d create public schools and call it education, and then I’d create a system to make children fat, unhealthy, sick, and life-long dependents on Big-Pharma and call it healthcare. Finally, I’d make a special formula called toxic masculinity to make men hard to come by, so there would be no one left to protect the rest from me…

I certainly believe that the time in which we presently live is a clear prelude to the unprecedented time described in God’s Word, leading up to the promised and glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ! It’s a comprehensive prophetic picture of specific religious, national, moral, economic, and natural components which together form the one-world, antichrist system being set up before us even now.  This itself is proof of what the Bible says, as God’s inspired Word!  And, while “God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:9) the days leading up to the described seven-year tribulation period will nevertheless bring great opposition, persecution, and affliction to the true body of Christ!  We have seen such suffering in other places, and as the Lord’s return would tarry, we will not be exempt from suffering for His sake.  Would we ever imagine that a radical Islamist and cultural Marxist would not be the Mayor-Elect of New York City, America’s largest city, and the financial capital of the world?   We are in for very difficult and dangerous days. In the midst of whatever is ahead of us, however, we are still to be the faithful follower of Christ – true to His Word, united in Him by the power of His Holy Spirit!  Let us be a people of persevering prayer, certainly for our own selves and nation, but also for all those in authority, including our enemies – for the furtherance of the Gospel and the salvation of precious souls everywhere! ~ Pastor Steve Offringa
