The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ In the Nick of Time?

And the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field in the portion of Jezreel; so that they shall not say, This is Jezebel. ~ 2 Kings 9:37

We are being rapidly ushered into what Timothy Alberino refers to as the Post-Human Apocalypse. A solid majority of humanity is poised to sell its Genesis 25:33 birthright for a bowl of stew! How can this be? The following two perspectives on Feminism, the first from a secular perspective, and the second from a Biblical one, will give us a good start to finding the how.

“The more I look back, the more I land on a conclusion that people do not like to talk about. Women leaving the home during the era of second-wave feminism may be one of the primary root causes of America’s health crisis. And not only our health crisis, but a long list of problems I will not unravel in this article. Before anyone gets upset, let me be clear. First-wave feminism was necessary. The right to vote, to own property, to have legal protection, and to make choices about our lives was essential. That was (social) justice.” ~ Mollie Engelhart

Justice means rightness with God, nothing is just until it is adjusted to God. ~ Oswald Chambers, The Moral Foundations of Life

“Looking back over the last fifty years—which is certainly possible if you’re as old as I am—we can’t miss the gradual but sweeping shift, subtle as it once was, that reshaped business, education, religion, politics, and even our personal relationships. Undeniably, one of the great cultural revolutions of our time, feminism has quietly made the “feminine” the default mode of Western behavior—almost as naturally and unnoticed as our conversion toward light eating, self-empowerment, and emotional transparency…Essentially, wokeness—and by extension, feminism—elevates empathy over logic, safety over risk, and emotional harmony over competition. It is less about ideas than about feelings; less about truth than about consensus. The cultural mood changed not by revolution but by transformation. It shifted because those who now hold institutional power are the ones who tell the stories, teach the values, and define the virtues.” ~ The Great Feminization

Now for the second half of the how. Here are two perspectives on sexual exploitation; the first from the very heart of the Jezebel spirit in a woman who hates men, her country, and the God who gave her life. The second from a woman who loves children, her country, and the God who saved her.

This week I spoke on gender-based violence and how it impacts women around the world…We must end male entitlement to female bodies, it is that simple and it is that complex. ~ Actress Ashley Judd

“The Epstein petition is deeply personal. When I was 14 I was molested by a friend of one of my coaches and sexually assaulted at 16. I was violently mugged months later. I dropped out of high school at 17 because I had nothing left to give. But God helped me turn things around. Two years ago I became a survivor of sexual and domestic violence once more to my utter shock, dismay and embarrassment. When I fled my home, I had nowhere to go. I lived in a friend’s one-bedroom garage apartment with two kids. I was forced to move 4 separate times to keep me and my children safe. My children were traumatized when they saw the bruises on my body when I finally had the courage to leave in November 2023. I left my life-savings in the hands of my abuser, I left my home, my vehicle. Everything.

I found videos of unconscious women being sexually assaulted. I found images of possible child sexual exploitation material. I worked overtime with my attorneys to turn evidence over to law enforcement. To date NO ONE HAS BEEN ARRESTED! During this time I was assaulted at the Capitol by a pro-trans man. I live with thousands of death-threats a year. I was told this week by a whistleblower, I was spied on by our airport! I have the establishment coming after me for requiring security to stay alive. My own Attorney General even put my safety at risk. About a year ago, I was able to get back on my feet and bought a beautiful home for my children and me. And I’m leading the race for Governor of South Carolina. Fighting p*dos, illegals, corruption, taxes, and have a plan for roads, bridges and a better quality of life for every South Carolinian. I’ll never understand why God threw me gut punch after gut punch – but I’m stronger, a better mother and a better friend to those in need. It’s why I’m TOUGH and ignore the evil before me.

As a survivor I will defend every last attack on President Trump to the death, everywhere. Just like I did on Stephanopoulos because I believe in HIM. And all this fake news, well, it’s just noise. I will NEVER abandon other survivors. I signed the Epstein petition and will keep my name there. Only in America and under God’s grace is this success story ever even possible.” ~ Congresswoman Nancy Mace

God is revealing the Saul and Jezebel spirit, mark my word. Both spirits were present in a room of Christians and patriots last night. As I challenged those gathered to complete the Larry Mayo Pray>Learn>Act mantra…we’ve got the prayer and learn parts down, but until the church reclaims the masculine role of protector (Act), the critical energy that separates the hireling from the Good Shepherd, the answer to today’s title/question is anybody’s guess. God knows!
