The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Where Were You?

The MOST important book!

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. ~ Matthew 7:22-23

When the leaders of the Jews rejected their King, God took the physical kingdom away from them and offered the Gentiles a spiritual kingdom (Matt. 21:42-43; Acts 28:23-31, 19:8, 20:25) that they could enter by a spiritual birth (John 3:5-6). You are at the point in history where God is going to take the spiritual kingdom away from the Gentiles because they have rejected His Son as Savior, and give a physical kingdom to a remnant of Jews who will accept Him as their King (Rom. 11:18-27). ~ Dr. Peter Ruckmanm, The Ruckman Reference Bible

This past Tuesday I posted, as I normally do, that day’s MAXWELL, Believe In Yourself ~ 1 Sam. 17:32, which drew friendly fire that same day for my “awful abuse of scripture”…making the case for “1 Sam. 17:32 having nothing to do with David’s confidence in himself, but about his faith in God.” I tried to explain my view that it is our faith that gives us courage that gives us confidence, but our very civil debate ended in a brotherly Prov. 27:17 agree-to-disagree moment of iron sharpening iron. And then, as in the latter part of Job, God entered the discussion the very next morning…

First, with Psalm 8:6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of they hands; thou hast put all things under his feet…followed by, “Our cross is the steady exhibition of the fact that we are not our own.” ~ Oswald Chambers, The Philosophy of Sin, and, “‘I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved,’ for Jacob did see God face to face, and he did die—so profound a death that God gave him a new name, ‘Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel’ That is always the test of the reality of sanctification: not so much that I have received something, but that I have ceased to be my old self.” ~ Oswald Chambers, The Face of God 🙏🦅🙏… and the coup de grâce, courtesy of the good doctor himself, (Genesis 32:31) The moral lesson here is every saint is still afflicted in old age by the old nature, which still stays with him. This old nature is not eradicated at salvation. It lays hold on us to bring us to the end of ourselves and bring to an end fleshy plans and schemes. The flesh must be mortified and crucified, according to the New Testament, even in the born-again child of God. ~ Dr. Peter Ruckman, The Ruckman Reference Bible (KJV)

This leads, or should lead, us all back to sister Linda Vega’s message to those of us gathered at the JIA Intercession by Interception event in Brooklyn on November 15th, “We need to go from believing to knowing!” Think, sons of Sceva(Acts 19:13-16) and Jesus’ Matthew 7:22-23 to us ALL! The demons saw believers in the seven sons of Sceva who did not know Jesus in the all-important relational sense that matters most to God the Father. In other words, they could see they did not have the Son in them. And they paid dearly. God shows us the critical importance of our relationship with Him in Matthew 12:49…more important than the earthly mother who birthed us, and the father who raised us!

Satan, the military genius who knows the Bible better than any of us, has twisted Romans 13, Jefferson’s letter to the church in Danbury, the Trojan Horse 501©3 exemption to an already exempt church, and deadliest of all to the Body of Christ…the belief that WE are powerless! These four tricks of the devil, up until this very moment, has effectively removed the church and sealed the men inside on the eve of THE most important battle in its entire history!

There is a reason why the hirelings who’ve infiltrated the church don’t preach the most important (to God) book in the Bible. Jesus gave us a preview of Revelation 9 in Luke 21:26 “those things which come on the earth…which cause men’s hearts to fail” will make the demons that terrorized the seven sons seem like a pack of cub scouts…and they will see, just as any animal can, who has the spirit of fear, and who has the Spirit of the living Christ. Ashley gives a great account of what is coming…

On that day He will not ask me where were the Father, Son, or the Holy Ghost? He will ask, “Where were you Chip Murray?” PLEASE church…I had a brother in Christ/pastor say to me a couple of weeks ago, “God is using you to make the church uncomfortable.”

It’s still the same old story
A fight for love and glory
A case of do or die…

The same old devil, the same old fear, and His same old Remnant.

Apostasy according to Peter. “For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them. What the true proverb says has happened to them: “The dog returns to its own vomit, and the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”
    2 PE 2:20-22
