ACCOMMODATION – the World Spirit of This Age.” To which I responded, “There is only one pulpit that has called it out, and I have watched the Jezebel spirit drag husbands by their snout rings away from it.” The Proverb from A Psalm & Proverb a Day just happened to be 31:3 “Give not thy strength to women, nor thy ways to that which destroys kings.” EXACTLY what we have done!

Brewer’s 1894 Dictionary of Phrase and Fable defines “creature comforts” as “food and other things necessary for the comfort of the body”. Man being supposed to consist of body and soul, the body is the creature, but the soul is the “vital spark of heavenly flame”.
