I am dumbstruck to watch as anyone refers to this President as if he were some unlucky incumbent at the mercy of gas prices! I have to confess that I have always held a very harsh opinion of the German people who allowed Hitler into power…until now! Now I understand how it happened…how so many good people could be so easily fooled. Media is that powerful a tool!
But at some point even the most ardent supporters of Obama must struggle when they see peaceful patriots demonized and violent anarchists cheered. Surely there must be some inner alarm that sounds when the man who scorned his predecessor over deficit spending rings the red ink bell at a record $232 BILLION…IN ONE MONTH! Are there no sirens wailing in their heads when the same voice that demands respect for Islam is somehow ok with the major network broadcast of Good Christian Bitches? In their hearts they must know that the man who promised us Hope, Change and Transparency and delivered 47 million American Food Stamp Dependents, Crony Capitalism SQUARED in Light SQUARED, Solyndra and Fast & Furious…LIED!
Energy is the Carotid Artery of America! The same man whose Defense Secretary looks to NATO and the UN for legal authority, shuts down the Gulf, says NO to Keystone and the Coal Industry has a razor to the throat of America…AND HE KNOWS IT!
The good news is that thanks to alternative sources for real news and journalism, most of us are beginning to realize there is something far more sinister behind those dark eyes than simple incompetence. And the even better news is that many of these folks are people who were once his biggest supporters!
Many of us are familiar with the Liberal to Conservative conversions of David Horowitz and Andrew Breitbart. But when people like David Mamet start waking up in places like Hollywood…When Alan Dershowitz opens his eyes and Questions with Boldness, you know some serious lines are being crossed! There comes a point or line for all with a conscience. It is the most fateful point in our lives because once we cross it becomes exponentially more difficult to correct. Beyond the price of gas, there is something far more sacred and precious hanging in the balance. It is the ONE thing you can take with you! We have reached the point where closing our eyes and pretending will not work for us any more than it did for millions in Nazi Germany!
How wonderful would it be for someone like Phil Sims to reach his line and call these criminals out on Prime Time TV? Well, the next best thing is for someone like James L. I predict that there is a momentum of courage that will spread like wild-fire in Americans First. And it will come from the tiniest of sparks that you and I set in our little individual places. You are the ying to my yang… the optimist to my pessimist… but surely, Chip, you understand that the vast majority of our fellow Americans don’t follow the mainstream media – let alone “alternative sources for real news.”
Chip… ya know these gas prices that are squeezing us? Well… do you think those who live in urban areas and don’t own a car… don’t drive… see what we see – experience what we experience?
Chip. What is it… one in seven Americans are now on food stamps? Something like that, right? Do you think THESE people want anything more than the further extension of the Welfare State?
Apparently you and I were channeling the same energies when we wrote our respective blog columns this morning. (Check mine out if you haven’t done so as yet.) Apparently, though, our readings of reality differ… once again.

William, with all due respect and admiration for the spirit of your posts, it is my humble opinion that you may have bought into the false narrative that is literally injected into every orifice of our senses 24/7! Just as you missed the Eastwood connection, I think you tend to believe the picture of us that they depict. The good news in this of course is that your prayers may have been answered! By the way, I am in no way guaranteeing that I am right…as I did say, it is only my opinion. That is just how good they are…to be able to fool an intelligent man such as yourself! I cannot begin to tell you how many people I come across who think of themselves as Conservatives and yet are somehow afraid to associate with the Tea Party! You watch my friend…watch the beautiful sparks.
