Average lives are full of special moments, but it is the defining moment that makes the average life special. And the ultimate rub is that it takes a special person to recognize and seize the defining moment…which is sadly why there is nothing special about most of us who live and die our average lives as nothing more than the politician’s livestock.

Churchill was the special man on an island of average men who recognized his defining moment in the eye of a gathering storm no one else seemed to see. The total body count from this storm after all was said and done was 72 million! The question that haunts me is, “What if there was no Churchill?” But the question that torments me is, “What if there were even a dozen Churchill’s?” What exactly is that quality of heart and soul that stirs so few to greatness while so many slumber?

June 28, 2012 was as dark a day for individual liberty and freedom as September 1, 1939 when Churchill’s nightmare became the world’s reality. However, Churchill’s foreign evil is our domestic one…which makes our’s a far more dangerous storm. The Nazi rise to power was a quick and vertical assent in comparison to the cancer that has slowly taken America to her knees. Where September 1^st was a unifying event in England, June 28^th was merely the zenith of our divide.

One day last week, a CPA member of my networking group was our featured speaker. He made the CCH Tax Briefing on Obamacare (linked below) the subject of his presentation. Whether you are a college student, an individual employee working for a large corporation, a sole proprietor or employer/owner of a small, medium or large business… the unconstitutional reality of Obamacare will be experienced as a force far more destructive to your America than all of the V-2 rockets that rained down on London!

When I returned to my office, I circulated the CCH document to half a dozen of my colleagues so they could be better informed for the benefit of their clients. I attached the briefing to the following email;

Here is the response I received back from a “top producer”;

Tell that CPA to go to Hell. We are too busy trying to generate PC to take care of our family, so ask him to stop wasting our precious time with this nonsense.

To reveal his character while protecting his identity, I will simply refer to him as Moe. Moe was not born in this country. In fact, I am one of the few people in an office of 40 associates who was! And, to the best of my knowledge, I am the only one who happens to be a member of the Tea Party. To Moe’s credit, he chose the legal route to make America his home…as far as I’m aware.

But who besides the Stooge savours the fruit while dishonoring the seed? Who gave Moe his “precious time”?  Who laid the ultimate sacrifice on the Alter of Freedom to provide so bountiful a garden for Moe to “take care of his family” in the first place? So Moe could what…generate PC?? Did even a single one of the countless thousands die for free healthcare? Welcome to the corral of your defining moment Moe! God help us…how many of you must we suffer to find our next Churchill??
