The ancients rejected God and sacrificed their own children to the pagan gods Baal and Molech. How could a parent be so cruel? Look in the mirror America…at the monster you’ve become. Your abortion industry alone, makes Auschwitz seem like a child’s lemonade stand. 60,000,000 since Roe v. Wade in 1973. How is the modern-day mother who has cast aside her obedience to God for faith in the flag of Feminism and its own pagan feel-good parade of shaman charlatans from Sister Moonbeam to Dawn Eagle Woman, any different from the ancient pagan-worshipping mothers…all feeding God’s greatest gift to the very same fire?
Its not the opioids killing our children , any more than it is the inanimate guns murdering our children in Chicago and Baltimore. They are literally dying to escape the world we have made for them by our own sinful nature, and failure to turn to God and keep his commands. Think about what this is saying to us! The aborted child has no choice. Your grown child cannot bear the madness and insanity you (we) have created for them…in numbers so great they are reducing overall life expectancy! “While we (baby boomers) are playing BINGO”? How is this not hell on earth? The Germans were able to dismiss the smoke of burning flesh carried on the winds from Auschwitz. The hurricane of the coming holocaust will sweep away the sum total of unrepentant humanity…as it did once before.
What is the worst crime, sin, wrong you have ever done in your life? When I was a younger man, God placed me on the exact same rooftop as David looking down on my own Bathsheba below. I followed in David’s sinful footsteps except for the murder part. I did not send my friend to the front line to have him killed, but I hurt him more than any man or woman has ever hurt me. How in the world I could have ever thought that my actions would amount to anything other than the greatest mistake of my life, is a credit to the true king of this world…the devil himself.
To be continued…
The biggest mistake we all make is the same one that Adam&Eve made! We know what God said but, we find a way to toss that aside. I remember reading the Bible as a teen&twenty-something thinking how”I would never do that” or “I am so much better than those Israelites or that Apostle.” When I realized that I was exactly like the Israelite provoking God to anger or I was Peter denying Jesus, it was like a light bulb went on in my life. Furthermore, I realized this was not some ancient history but instead it was like the movie “Groundhog Day,” where you wake up and the story of David and Bethsheba or Lot’s wife could be you!
I believe, like you do, that the false religions and moral directions that we all took have lead to the drug and alcohol fueled suicide fest test we see all around us. We are like lemmings running off the side of a cliff. Over Christmas, I forced myself to read the MANY stories of fathers killing their families and then themselves. Why? So,I would always be ready to help those around me. Living for God means being ready to help others not toss aside the message of God, if we can help it. Revival and reformation is the key!
Such great points D…in such a sharp contrast to the emptiness and denial of the Progressive message. I should write a parody of Joni Mitchell’s “They Paved Paradise”…They paved paradise and put up a Cyanide Stand. Or something to that effect.
That would be a great song. I am imagining the album cover. Half of the picture would show the paving over of the garden of Eden and the second half of the picture a modern life montage.
Thanks to Maureen who saw this as related to this morning’s SMTU, which I felt as well. http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/01/06/cardinal-napier-abortion-culture-cannot-hope-happy-peaceful-future/
The good news is that even David found favor with God because he was “a man after God’s own heart.” We all miss the mark, some by much, some by a little but close doesn’t count. In a sense, we’re all guilty of every sin in the book, but through the sacrifice of God’s own Son we’ve been forgiven of every sin in the book. As has been said, “The ground is level at the cross.” Thank God!
That’s where revival and reformation begins–in our very own hearts!
“The ground is level at the cross.” Love it…love you brother!
