We Cannot Fight What We Cannot See!

John McArthur’s preamble to his teaching on Jude says it all, Truth. Truth…Truth…Truth, and nothing but the truth, so help Him God. WHY? Why, in discussing the 25-verse epistle of Jude, does McArthur stress such emphasis on the word truth, placing it at the very highest pinnacle of importance, even above Jude himself? Because TRUTH, at ALL cost, is the very point of the life and death of Jesus Christ, the shining essence of Calvary, and His immeasurable love for us. The moment we alter, hide, filter, dilute, ignore, omit, and/or avoid the truth, we betray His love and violate His first and most important Commandment of all. How did truth become such a stranger to us? Or, perhaps the greater question, when did it become so unimportant?

The call to Prayer & Fast Wednesday went like this…

“I have a Jewish friend who calls me on a weekly basis, each week more distressed, worried, and anxious than the week before. Why? Two reasons. First, he relies on man to fix what man has broken. And second, he has (like so many of my Christian friends) relinquished his part in the remediation and repair work that needs to be done.

My dear friend and brother Walter was asked to bring the Word this past Sunday, and in-deed He did! “We Are At War” He beamed from the pulpit! The Holy Spirit rained down truth of the enemy’s assault on the American People, through the passionate voice of my brother straight into the hearts and minds of everyone present. Truth, too many are starving for because of the “scarcity of earnest contenders” in our nation’s pulpits where they once thrived, as Pastor John McArthur describes it. I wrote about it in this past Sunday Morning Tune-up.

Dear friends, We Are At War. Please forgive me for this oldie but goldie truism…We have to Be In It To Win It! And as Sherley is quoted above, we cannot fight what we cannot see, “recognize” and understand. And please pray, Lord, help your church to lock arms with one another in intercession and align with Your plan and purposes. Give us wisdom in voting during this election, for those of us who are working in this very hour to unite our churches as the (John 17:21) church Jesus Christ prayed for.

Who has greater responsibility for safeguarding and protecting truth here on earth than the shepherds themselves? The world outside is the world you and I made because we lost, replaced, or surrendered “the right matter in our minds intellectually.” We have been hustled out of usefulness to God. We play hide and seek with the truth to make truth useful to us. In other words, to get to the very heart of John McArthur’s Jude message on the enemy within, with friends like us Truth doesn’t need enemies. As a direct result, the shepherds have allowed two very dangerous wolves access to the flock…

The highest-ranking shepherd in the Catholic faith just ratified sodomy…Apostasy in the Church!

They want nothing less than the entire world to declare that GOD IS WRONG, AND THEY ARE RIGHT.  And if God is “wrong” then God is not God, and the (LGBTQ) are actually superior to God, and have been victims of an inferior being all this time…The mob of Sodom arrived at Lot’s house in order to demand that both Lot and his two guests RATIFY THE (LGBTQ) SEXUAL PERVERSION. My friend and colleague-in-letters, Eric Martin, reveals an even deadlier arm of their ultimate endgame that goes back centuries…Apostasy in the State!

In the words of Linda Sarsour, a well-known anti-Semite, the Democratic Party “..is not perfect, but it now belongs to us.…” In other words, it belongs to radical Islam, to those who would initiate the destruction of Israel and the mass killing of Jews. For the first time in recent history, every major Democratic candidate for president declined to attend the annual AIPAC conference in Washington, D.C. This was a stunning declaration of hostility to the State of Israel and to those who love and support it. The bottom line is this dear friends. Our Church and State need a King Josiah moment! Continuing on this same well-worn path expecting favorable outcome…dare I say salvation…is the definition of insanity. The Church needs to come out of hiding and take the lead, certainly with regards to moral issues. The spirit of apostasy must be confronted. We need to truth our way to love or become the wolf’s next meal in our present folly of loving our way to truth. Ask yourself this; did Jesus love His way to truth in His famous Matthew 16:23 rebuke of Peter? Besides, it is far more difficult to persecute a church united! (John 17:21)

Lastly, I will share with you from personal experience that confrontation is not only a most loving act in these times, but it also makes us stronger. Every stand against evil creates greater confidence for the next stand. David took on both lion and bear before he stood against Goliath. (1 Samuel 17:34,35) I have been honored by being asked to read Psalm 91 and Luke 12:4-5 at a Right-to-Life event this afternoon. If you consider ALL human life and Western Civilization worth standing up and fighting for, then Consider Yourself Part of the Family!
