The church today suffers a serious split personality-crisis. One church is clearly seen shining brightly through the spirit of Sam Adams, glorifying the Father:

The hand of heaven appears to have led us on to be, perhaps, humble instruments and means in the great providential dispensation which is completing. The other church, cursed from the Antioch Alexandria split which led to the corruption and “watering down” of His Word, can be clearly seen today in the deformed Ephialtes…unrecognizable to the Father…His Luke 18:8 lament:

Those who’ve seen the movie 300 about Sparta’s stand against the tyrannical forces of Xerxes in the Battle of Thermopylae, remember the moment the deformed Ephialtes approached King Leonidas with his passionate plea to join the Spartan soldiers and “kill Persians”. A request Leonidas denied after Ephialtes was unable to raise his shield, explaining a “chain (Spartan Phalanx) is only as strong as its weakest link”. Spartan discipline and integrity enabled 300 Spartan warriors to deal a devastating blow to an invasion force of over 100,000 of Xerxes troops, before finally dying “what we Spartans call a “beautiful death”.

At least Ephialtes wanted to raise his shield…This weakest link led to the hidden reef enemy within we now struggle with today, prophesied by Jude…

If you cut flowers from the soil that nurtured them, you can look at the flowers and for a couple of days they don’t look like they need the soil that nurtured them. But they will wither and die.
