The Spirit of God began extraordinarily to set in, and wonderfully to work amongst us…” ~ Jonathan Edwards
SW #9 Re-cap
Never Say Never:
- Our government, hijacked by a criminal cabal, has crossed the Romans 13 Rubicon.
- God brings justice when we “pray at all times” and “don’t lose heart.” ~ Luke 18:1
- The Bible contains EVERYTHING man needs to fix the problems man created.
- The modern 501©3 church has subordinated the Word of God to the will of man.
- The church community needs to read Metaxas’ Letter to the Church and reunite with the patriot community.
Welcome back to another episode of ___________________. I would love it if you would fill in the blank in the comment section below. From my own perspective our world has transitioned from American Idol to Hunger Games in one fetal heartbeat, or so it seems. As a sheepdog ever watching the wolf, I will tell you they groomed us through Idol straight into their Games.
Covid was their ultimate Venus Flytrap. Some of us were smarter than the average fly, most of us proved not to be. Sorry if this offends any of my readers, but the need for “tough-mindedness” as my brother Earl puts it, trumps any of our feelings at this point. And, as those souls seeking amnesty learned a few weeks back, that ship has sailed. The only possible excuse for “I did not know” that will be accepted in the Nuremberg 2.0 trials will be the coma you entered into on May 1st, 2020, and came out of this morning, November 20th, 2022. Period. Welcome to God’s World! 100%…always has been, always will be…from the day of Job some 3,500 years ago to the hour of His return, which only the Father knows, our country tis of Thee, is God’s country.
Well, now that we’ve settled that a very important question remains. Who are we in these Hunger Games, and what is our plan of survival?
God has blessed me to be part of the leadership of two separate groups; CLOTH (Christian Leaders Of The Hudson), and Orange Strong (Constitutional Patriots). The former exists to unite the Christian community in answer to our Lord’s prayer in John 17:21. And the latter to unite our entire community to stand for the Constitutional freedoms and liberties so many have died for, and to preserve our communities for the generations to come. The enemy of us all and #1 Sponsor of the Hunger Games hates both for obvious reasons and does not wish to see either group succeed. I have good news and I have bad news. The good news is that patriot community is soundly engaged. The bad news, as Eric Metaxas points out in his Letter to the American Church, the Christian community is not even close to being on the field. Two examples from a Christian brother and sister I love dearly…just this week. The brother used 2 Corinthians 6:14 (Do not be bound together with unbelievers) to explain his struggle to support the local Falun Gong community in their heroic stand to expose the CCP Communist infiltration of our schools, our healthcare system, our election system, and our local governments. And, while much appreciated, the sister’s support was restricted to “watching, listening, reading, praying” I can’t know the 2 Corinthians brother’s heart, the limitations on the sister, or the reason that keep either from showing up as His salt and the light where it is needed most…for such a time as this, but God does. I pray for all my Christian brothers and sisters to search their hearts. The question they need to ask themselves is the very same question Eric Metaxas puts to the church in his latest book, “What more needs to happen before Christian leaders to see that God calls them to stand and fight against the unfurling madness?” When the Groom returns for His bride will our lamps be filled with the Spirit of David…Joshua or Caleb? Will he see in us the Spirit of His 1st Century Disciples? Or will He see the spirit of fear and self-interest in King Saul’s disengaged army, the other 10 spies, or Judas? And, I beg us to search ourselves diligently before we answer with this in mind. The difference between amnesty and forgiveness is God’s system of perfect and equal justice. The church caught in what Metaxas describes as the “cowardice that masquerades as godly meekness, had better wake up to the Gospel justice rendered unto Ananias and his wife Sapphira in Acts 5 for simply having kept some back for themselves.
The patriot community is not entirely off the hook either. Today’s SW #10 The Good Fight was inspired by the post-election, or better-said post-steal talk in the Republican, Conservative, Patriot circles…“that we need to out-cheat the Democrats if we ever hope to win another election.” That floating idea froze myself, and I was delighted to learn yesterday, another CLOTH leader, solid in our tracks. Which marries the Jonathan Edwards quote above to the Chambers passage below:
As we go on, we find every place God brings us into is the means of enabling us to realize with growing joy that the life of Christ within is more than a match, not only for the enemy on the outside, but for the impaired body that comes between. Paul urges with passionate pleading, that we present our bodies a living sacrifice, and then realize, not presumptuously, but with slow, sure, overwhelming certainty that every command of Christ can be obeyed in our bodily life through the atonement. ~ Oswald Chambers, Yield Yourselves to God
We must never lower ourselves or our standards to the Luciferian “end justify the means” playbook of the enemy…ever. In fact, there are way too many of us in both patriot and Christian communities holding on to the idea, hope, and desire to return to the comfortable place of the normal we once knew. So much so in fact that some of us would even consider cheating our way back there. Normal is the tandem aphrodisiac partnered with fear, used by the devil to lure us in…which finally brings us to the illustration of Margaret Corbin above who stood her husband John’s post to man his cannon in the battle to defend Fort Washington, after he was fatally wounded on November 16th, 1776. America is the last best hope for the world. Americans, while yoked once upon a time to the sin of slavery…a sin we rightly cast off, were never meant for, and will never live as slaves. We will not play in their Hunger Games. As brother Wes shared with a wonderful assembly of pastors in, of all places, Liberty New York yesterday, God is not finished with America just yet. BUT, as every pastor to a man echoed yesterday, He is calling ALL men back to the church, onto the field, and into the fight. Amen?
AMEN! May every Christian realize the truth that “to live is Christ and to die is gain”. We need not fear any enemy.
“To live is Christ and to die is gain.” Love that brother…source?
