Called by God to lift them up!
The doctrine of substitution is twofold. Not only is Jesus Christ identified with my sin, but I am identified with Him so that His ruling disposition is in me, and the moral transaction on my part is agreement with God’s verdict on sin in the Cross of Jesus Christ. Redemption means that God through Jesus Christ can take the most miserable wreck and turn him into a son of God. ~ Oswald Chambers, Regeneration
Today is the day the heart of tyranny feared more than any other day since creation. All one need do is look at what Herod did to try to prevent the John 1:5 Light from entering into our world. So why would a tyrannical king fear it so? Simple…tyranny requires fear in a man’s heart to rule him. Fear cannot co-exist with Peace & Joy in the heart of man, and there is only one King who brings this Peace & Joy. As Pastor Rick Fry shares in his Christmas Eve message last night, in every other religion man works his way to their idea of God. Ours is the only religion where God worked His way supernaturally to man to supernaturally do what man could never do on his own.
Speaking of the supernatural, Pastor Rick’s unusual but timely and prophetic Christmas Eve message (21:45min mark) to my brother Keith’s church known as the Rock in California last night shed real light on some of the struggles I’m seeing in my own church and patriot communities here in New York. He points out that the odds of one person fulfilling just 48 prophesies made about him is 10 to the power of 157. That’s a 1 with 157 0’s after it. Scholars say Jesus fulfilled every prophesy (350-400) in the Old Testament which spans somewhere close to 4,000 years. Pastor Rick Fry’s Christmas Eve Message
Can there be a greater gift to the human heart than the gift of Peace & Joy? WAY above the very popular and nearly always re-gifted fruitcake. Amen? God did not choose a king to deliver the good news down to His people, He chose the lowly shepherds to lift them up. Think of the dark times they were living in under the oppressive thumb of Roman rule. There is a fear of man, and there is a fear of God…which tends to get twisted by the enemies of God.
We’ve already discussed how Satan, through puppet kings uses fear to gain and maintain control over the hearts and minds of men…
Fear of God…I am not afraid of the Abba Father who loves me beyond my comprehension. I am afraid of being discovered outside the boundaries God has set for me. This life is the womb of our eternal calling… Belief is a function of having faith, and faith is a matter of having trust. such amazing wisdom from Pastor Brad Cummings.
So, what I am seeing in my own church and patriot communities is a predisposition, away from the supernatural to the natural fear of man which fulfills the will of tyrants and perpetuates our pain and suffering in this world. I see lost pastors looking to “33 Ways To Build A Mega-Church” books when they already have 66 books in the Bible that gives them EVERTHING they need to grow their churches. Peace & Joy does not come from earthly kings or gimmicky shepherds. It comes from belief beget by faith beget by trust in the one true God.
“Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love…does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;…bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.” That is Christian living in actual life. ~ Oswald Chambers, Direction of Divine Living
Wishing ALL my brothers and sisters a most genuinely peaceful, joyful, Merry Christmas. May we all accept His greatest gift into our hearts to fill our minds with the wisdom and discernment to guide us and our loved ones through the days ahead. Amen.
Discernment goes deeper than knowledge, resembling intuition. At times, discernment is a gift; at other times it results from much experience. Discernment brings a profound perception of what is occurring, either on the outside or the inside of a person. ~ John C. Maxwell, A Leader of Discernment
