And Moses said, “By this you shall know the Lord has sent me to do all these works, for I have not done them of my own will. If these men die naturally like all men, or if they are visited by the common fate of all men, then the Lord has not sent me. But if the Lord creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will understand that these men have rejected the Lord.” ~ Numbers 16:28-30
There are two old sayings that ring exceptionally true today. “It’s hard to soar with eagles when you’re surrounded by turkeys.” ~ Longfellow Deeds, and “Misery loves company.” God has plans for Montgomery. The same God who will bring Revival to New York will prove the faith of every man and woman who counts themselves as Christian. He used yesterday’s Drag Queen Story Hour held at a private business as mirror for us to see ourselves in. Those of us in support of sexual grooming of children on the left, and those who responded to the “prayer vigil” invitation to protect our children on the right. We even walked a prayer “blood line” of prayer and protection around the store the night before… for ALL participants!
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? ~ James 2:20
We all know people who complain about their circumstances whether it be the church they attend or the relationships they are in…and do next to nothing to change their circumstance. Well, brothers and sisters, if the photograph pairing above isn’t your wake-up call, then there is no waking up in you. Never in your entire life has situational awareness been more critical than it is at this very moment.
Yes, it is hard to soar with eagles. God made it so for good reason. Did you know that eagles are the only bird that fly into the storm? I didn’t either, until He showed me this morning. All others, including turkeys, fly and or run away from them. I had a man of “faith” actually warn his fellow men of “faith” not to show up yesterday…for fear of arrest! But our brokenness is not limited to the church. Orange County Leadership is broken in our government, our churches, and the patriot movement itself. Moms for Liberty, at the present moment, are for liberty in all areas but religious expression. Let that sink in. Where were they yesterday? As I said to one mom who did show up, don’t lose heart, there is a big difference between protest and prayer vigil. The former is about ourselves and the latter is about God…who LOVES to accomplish the most with the least…as He did with Gideon, David, and so many other times in history.
There is a storm coming my friends, and God is bringing this wake-up call. We assimilate our environment. If you are in a temple of dead stone church get out now. If you think yourself a leader yet surround yourself with those who go back on their word, accept no reproof, and talk faith while acting fear, you may as well be living in muddy water, unable to get out of your own way, let alone lead others on a clear path. I will tell you from experience, when you fly into the storm, when you turn into the fiery furnace of Faith, God will not only prove you, He will favor you in ways you could never have imagined. Look in that mirror churchmen. If I see men afraid of their own shadows, you better know God does as well! Faith…For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ~ James 2:26
“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” ~ Mark Twain
And if you fear to stand there, how in the world will you ever stand up here…
The man of sin will have his rod, he will do clever tricks, he will put the mark of the beast on every business system that he sanctions, and those who do not have that mark on them can never do business under the regime of the man of sin. Suppose you find that the people who are “counted in” under the mark of the beast succeed, and you do not succeed, you may be tempted to negotiate the thing and say, “Well, I don’t know, If I did this thing it would save me; I had better compromise a bit.” We must never do that. ~ Oswald Chambers, The Rod of the Wicked
The choice is clear: Side with those who lift up the other side in prayer, or side with those who lift up a finger to the other side in hate. There is no middle of the road.
Exactly brother, as our very own sisters Maria M https://www.lohud.com/videos/news/local/2023/04/01/see-two-different-opinions-drag-queen-story-hour-held-montgomery-new-york/11585406002/?fbclid=IwAR2g0hFfeCsT-ah5fmEET3QSuaSpZdqp4BwRrrgqIczxZFT52rDVXgDCsaw & Christine M demonstrated on Saturday! “At one point, Christine McCormick of Highland, who stood with the drag protesters but didn’t hold a sign, walked across the driveway. Kyle Conway of Middletown met her in the middle.
They were calm and courteous.
Conway, vice president of the Newburgh-Highland Falls NAACP, asked questions and McCormick answered. She asked him questions too. They promised to meet up and talk more. A police lieutenant walked by and leaned into their huddle.
With a hand on each person’s shoulder, he told them, “Great example.” https://www.recordonline.com/story/news/2023/04/04/lgbtq-rights-debate-evident-over-ny-drag-queen-story-hour/70064964007/
