“ARE YOU A BIGOT?” …screamed in my face with furious anger and rage earlier this week by a friend who has known me for eight years, who happens to be Puerto Rican. A Puerto Rican who has CNN piped into his brain 24/7. It took me a while to learn the source of his rage was a comedian who delivered a bad joke about Puerto Rico from the stage of the MSG Trump rally.

“November 1^st 10am, the Village of Bath, NY Police Department arrests and jails a lunatic who punches a stranger and breaks his teeth for wearing a Trump ball cap.” I could fill a month of Tune-ups and more with these stories of out-of-control hatred popping up EVERYWHERE. Satan is working overtime because he knows his time is nigh…He’s competing with his former Boss for the harvest, and he unwittingly gave me the title of today’s Tune-up.

When we seek something or someone to hate we will, more often than not, find what we are looking for. The same is true if, instead, we train our sights on seeking someone to love. God delivered His affirmation of today’s message in a FB post that teared me up yesterday. It is at the end of Pastor Steve’s devotional in preparation for today’s service at Howells Church where I am blessed to attend and serve on the Mustard Seed praise team.

My Puerto Rican friend and many like him who have been led away from God by the ruler of this world that presently controls all seven of the cultural mountains, remind me of little children who have been promised candy and are now learning they can’t have what they were promised. This would ordinarily be where the good daddy would respond with the much-need rod to correct the child he loves dearly but, you see, the good daddy has been replaced by the weak daddy…

I Know your works. Whose works? The church of the Laodiceans, the apostate people. The people, the church that is living in denial of her beloved Jesus. He says to the church at the end of times, 21^st century, our time. He’s talking to us now…the LORD. That’s scary, isn’t it? I can tell you Jesus can be very scary my darlings! Ah, He’s not a joke, don’t take Him as a joke, ever. He’s saying, “I know all your works because I’m God. Nothing is hidden from me. You may be seen as a pope, as a patriarch, as an archbishop, as a bishop, as a leader of the church before the world. But to Me, I know your works. You are neither hot nor cold. Your deeds are neither hot nor cold. I wish if either you were hot or cold. Why? Hot means you are really close to Me…if you really loved me fervently…I wish. And also I wish if you could not have been hot at least I wish if you were able to be cold. But since you are neither hot or cold…cold means distant from God. Hot close to the LORD, cold distant from the LORD. He said you are neither close or distant, you’ve chosen for yourself to be lukewarm…meaning neither hot nor cold. A dead conscience…at Trump’s MSG rally last week, Tucker Carlson said these words, “President Trump has liberated us from the obligation to tell lies.” In 1792 James Madison wrote these words in his essay on property, “Conscience is the most sacred property of all.”

Those of you who read my Tune-ups know I have been calling out the lukewarm church daddies from day one. I have prepared for you my readers two hot and on fire with fervent love for Jesus Christ pastors AND the flock they have charge over, and two lukewarm. What I would encourage you to do is watch each from God’s perspective as they are the ones responsible for safeguarding that which He loves most. And at the same time imagine watching from the perspective of him that roams throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. I would tell you my friends the two he will avoid like the plague to move in on the softer and easier prey, but you will see for yourselves. Please pray for their correction while there’s still time!

“IF THE FOUNDATIONS BE DESTROYED, WHAT CAN THE RIGHTEOUS DO?” (PSALM 11:3)!  On this Election Day, Tuesday, November the 5th, America is faced with an unprecedented battle for her spiritual, moral, and political survival!  And, it is clearly a contest between two mutually exclusive positions: between Biblical values and the anti-God “woke” agenda; between our Constitutional Republic and a pro-Marxist socialist state; between good and evil; and between life and death!  And, make no mistake about it, these two opposing positions are incompatible with each other!  One who truly believes the Bible as “the rule and guide in all matters of faith and practice” cannot hold to an atheistic, secular, and humanistic, antichrist worldview!  As Paul said, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar…” (Romans 3:4)!  The truly sad and serious thing is to see how many “church folks” or mere “cultural Christians” are actually duped and deceived by Satan’s one-world agenda!  They are the products of apostate church “religion”, apart from true belief in the Word of God and of new life in Christ!  They fall for the perversity, the insanity, and the moral chaos of such abominations as LGBTQ+ and the demonic transgender dysphoria!  They are blindsided to the very words of Christ, and to the rest of prophetic Scripture, which clearly describe these present and last days upon us now!  Where do you stand!  Are you for what the Scripture says on the essential and critical issues before each of us, the family, the church, and  our Nation?  What is your source of information and of instruction?  Is it truly God’s Word?  Jesus said, “No man can serve two masters…” (Matthew 6:24)!  Therefore,   “…Choose you this day whom ye will serve…” (Joshua 24:15)!  One’s worldview determines one’s position on spiritual, moral and political matters, and subsequently one’s choices!  Always in the love of Christ, Pastor Steve Offringa!

She said,

He told her about the past, how they met, and their first kiss.

they didn’t cry, they smiled.

They didn’t regret anything, they were grateful. Then she repeated softly,

‘I love you forever!’

He returned her words and gave her a soft kiss on the forehead.

She closed her eyes and fell asleep peacefully with her hand in his.

Love is really all that matters because everyone comes into this world with nothing other than love and leaves with nothing other than love.

Think about it.

Profession, career, bank account, our goods are just tools, nothing more.

Everything stays here.

So just love….

Love those who really love you.

Love, as if there was nothing more important in your life.
