City of the Fallen Angel

Keep an eye brothers and sisters…old friends and new worlds…I read these words of wisdom from our old friend Oswald Chambers just this morning in The Test of Loyalty, “It is only the loyal soul who believes that God engineers circumstances. We take such liberty with our circumstances, we do not believe God engineers them, although we say we do; we treat the things that happen as if they were engineered by men.”

Doc’s Remnant A-Team gave me the title for today’s Tune-up in this video he made last Summer where he introduced them. He had reposted it a week or so ago. In God’s perfect timing it landed on the shores of my consciousness smack dab in the middle between the Industrialization of Islamic Child Rape in the UK, and the Firestorm that has, as of this writing, consumed 38,000 acres of home-filled land in Las Angeles (City of Angels) California. High places rise up when Biblical Manhood dries up…as it so tragically has. The time has come for Biblical Manhood to rise up to tear them down {Leviticus 26:30}. Jesse Waters says “we’re witnessing the collapse of Liberal Society” with the LA Fires in yesterday’s report. I say we are witnessing the collapse of Western Civilization without a resurgence of Biblical Manhood…where men  are conditioned by God rather than by men who want or pretend to be God…or worse.

It’s a strange world growing stranger by the minute, out with the old, and in with the new?  They use to say the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys…as 38,000 acres of very expensive toys just went up in smoke…on the heels of the Western North Carolina disaster. I just wrote the other day that If you’ve watched the events of the past year and haven’t dusted off your Bible and cried to Jesus, you are truly on your own.

Like the Bette Midler tune, God Is Watching Us…I said to Him in my prayers this morning, “You know my every thought before I think it.” He’s doing so much more than simply watching us. He’s giving us every opportunity to prove ourselves loyal to Him. He knows who will and He knows who won’t… Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets. For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. ~ Psalm 55:11-14

Everything changed in 2020…you SEE…God gave us the year of perfect vision…but my former pastor who took a knee to the man called me “a wolf in sheep’s clothing” for warning my brothers and sisters of the REAL wolf and the threat to our children, our communities and our country! Its very hard to step out and cut against the grain of a society that has been as thoroughly conditioned as ours, but I am here to tell you He favors us when we do!

In closing, I will leave you with two nuggets of hope for the future for those brave enough to choose it; Young Men Find a More Masculine Alternative:

As the article correctly stated, the Orthodox Church is decidedly more masculine than “traditional” mainline US denominations. One reason why is because the Orthodox tradition is the most dominant tradition in Eastern Europe and the most dominant Christian tradition remaining in the Middle East. Curiously, and most narrative-smashing, Russia has the largest Orthodox body in the world. Meaning, Orthodoxy has largely escaped the ravages of wokeism.

The article’s second misleading element was that, when you boiled it down, all the personal anecdotes actually described converts of young men to Orthodoxy from atheism rather than from other traditions. In other words, growth. So it really was a story of a growing church, in particular rapid growth in the American Orthodox church, and altogether a rising spiritual movement with a decidedly manly character.
