The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ “Wonders of Old”

Bring Down The Fire!

I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember the wonders of oldThey kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law. And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.~ Psalm 77:11, 78:10-11

What a difference a chapter makes! From confidence that bears repeating to breaking the deal, abandoning the walk, and dismissing His works and wonders. Time and time again, age after age…it really is the same old story. THE most amazing love story of all time, for those with ears to hear, eyes to see, and the faith and courage to see a thing through. What did we learn about ourselves during COVID? That most of us lack every quality I just mentioned. We live in a culture that sees truth as an impediment, and comfort and consumption as everything. To an outsider it must appear that we’ve developed an insatiable appetite for lies…classic Stockholm Syndrome. NEWSFLASH…we’ve been here before.

Jamie Walden asks his audience in the Suck it Up Buttercup clip below, “Do you believe you have the power to call down fire from the LORD?” I recently posted Peter Ruckman’s notes on Leviticus 9:24 and 10:1 ~ This innocent little incident that took place one time out on the backside of a desert turns out to be the foundation for both Advents, before and after. Undoubtedly, this is what happened in Genesis 4:4 when Abel’s offering was accepted. Cain saw it accepted (Eph. 1:6) and saw his rejected. So it became the test for false prophets (1 Kings 18:24) when the same thing happened to four hundred religious leaders in the ecumenical counsel who were slain by Elijah (1 Kings 18:38-40). For this reason, it is exactly the same phenomenon that will take place when the False Prophet is “selling the world” on the “son of perdition” (Rev. 13:12-16). It also identifies both of the two witnesses that show up in the Tribulation (Rev. 11:5). They speak and the fire comes down. It is illustrated in 2 Kings 1:10-14. Thus, this verse becomes almost a “fundamental of the faith”—both faiths in both Testaments. (10:1) “Stange fire” is immediately recognized, because the right fire was in the verse right before it (Lev. 9:24).

Our churches, infiltrated and overrun by demonic and unclean spirits, have fed their flocks spiritual sedatives in place of the Spiritual armor they will need for what is coming.

Carelessness in spiritual matters is a crime. ~ Oswald Chambers, Approved Unto God

Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. ~ Revelation 2:20

We are starting a 12-week Derek Prince course on Demons and Demonology this coming Tuesday for those who wish to Destroy Jezebel! (Contact me if interested)

We are never the same after listening to the truth; we may forget it, but we will meet it again. Sow the Word of God, and everyone who listens will get to God. If you sow vows, resolutions, aspirations, emotions, you will reap nothing but exhaustion: “And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it” (Lev. 26:16); but sow the Word of God, and as sure as God is God, it will bring forth fruit….A man may not grasp all that is said, but something in him is intuitively held by it. See that you sow the real seed of the Word of God, and then leave it alone. ~ Oswald Chambers, Sow the Real Seed

Suck It Up Buttercup: Get In The Fight! ~ Jamie Walden

Prophecy Is Being Fulfilled! Time to Rise & Shine! Amen? BRING DOWN THE FIRE!

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. ~ Matthew 5:13-16

Thank you for the message, Chip. In my experience, a Christian has to recognize that he is on this earth as a warrior of God, a servant of His Son, Jesus Christ, and a champion of His People on the field of battle. A Christian therefore has to accept that he will be attacked, and wounded, sometimes mortally in the flesh. That said, a Christian must rejoice that his life is ordained for glory, and that a mansion awaits him in heaven, for Jesus has already gone to prepare it. What we need now is the Christian Warrior Spirit, for that is the Spirit which will confront and vanquish the satanic “spirit” of our times. Deus vult!

    God bless all,

    Sir Eric M
