I urge you to watch this short clip of Speaker Johnson explaining who John Quincy Adams was to the press. Ambassador at 14-yrs-old, the only President to serve in Congress after his Presidency because of his tenacious personal mission to end slavery, when asked why he fights a seemingly unwinnable fight year after year, he replied, “The duty is ours, results are God’s”

My friend, Wisconsin Pastor Matt Trewhella, who knows a thing or two about fighting seemingly unwinnable fights, and author of The Doctrine of the Lessor Magistrates, published this translation of the Magdeburg Confession:

Just as the Church is an ordinance of God, in which God wants there to be an order of teachers and of learners, so also politics and economy are truly ordinances of God, in which he likewise wants there to be an order of superiors and an order of inferiors who are ruled by laws and precepts that agree with reason and are not at variance with the Word, and obey them, not only because of wrath or fear of the punishment which threatens from their rulers, but also because of conscience, that is, fear of the wrath and judgment of God…

In these matters, just as subjects necessarily owe obedience to their magistrates; and the children and the rest of the family, to their parents and masters, on account of God; so on the other hand, when magistrates and parents lead their charges away from true piety and uprightness, obedience is not owed to them from the word of God. Also, when they professedly persecute piety and uprightness, they remove themselves from the honor of magistrate and parents before God and their own consciences, and instead of being an ordinance of God they become an ordinance of the Devil which can and ought to be resisted by His order for the sake of one’s calling. ~ Matt Trewhella, The Magdeburg Confession 13^th of April 1550 AD…bedrock foundation of our own founding as One Nation Under God 250 years ago!

It’s extremely painful to know the truth of who we are as the men God made us to be, while attending a county government meeting as I did this past week to witness the shamefully weak, corrupt, and pathetic men we have become. Mocking our Creator by lifting the sin of Pride in sexual deviancy and perversion as something to be embraced, exalted and celebrated…while what is left of American manhood plays church like little girls play house, indifferent to the storms of the real world…as the wolves remain free to devour our children!!!

And we have the gall to wonder how/why Kath Hochul referred to New Yorkers as “My Apostles” in 2021! Wonder no more my friends. She is able to do so because she and the entirety of the tyrannical political class have zero respect for the “men” of the church. Who can blame them? These are the absolute cowardly hirelings God Himself called out in John 10:12!

The good news is God never uses men like these for His purpose and glory. Instead, He seeks out men who are rough around the edges like Matt Trewhella and Jorge Vega, both of whom were once gang members who God plucked out of their former lives…much the same as He did the Apostle Paul for His purpose, to blaze new Pathways to Power for future generations.  

The true men of God are John 15:13 men who act out of unconditional love, pure and simple. Count yourself blessed to know one. The future of our country standing at the brink of civil war has never needed them more. Find your Why. Mine just texted me, “Madainn mhath 😊”. TRAIN THEM UP!
