I love the Word of God. He uses Luke 10:19 serpents and scorpions to describe our enemies in this very hour, as he uses the Proverbs 24:3,4 house to help us see our American Society that has been the greatest beneficiary of wisdom, understanding, and knowledge our world has ever known.

As my regular readers know, we, Orange Strong, have been showing up at our County Legislature meetings since April as God calls ALL his children to be the salt and light (Matt. 5:13-16). It’s our Nehemiah 2:18 arise and build moment. What we have observed in EVERY meeting is the tragic consequence of Jackson’s dire warning to a society that has allowed dissolution of the absolute. Without the Light of Absolute Truth, LGBTQ Pride becomes virtue, Autism Awareness becomes Autism ACCEPTANCE, Immigration & Customs Enforcement become “Concentration Camps,” and bioweapons are heralded as life-savers.

Last night, my same faith partner and I attended a local barbecue where we met two lovely young Christian couples who “don’t do politics.” They were married weeks apart just last year and do not have children yet. Frocine and I tried to make the argument for the very reasons given in the previous paragraph, that God did not make us His children to not do politics. There is absolutely no Biblical basis for political abstinence, and Proverb upon Proverb of evidence to the contrary! To no avail. Their response? God’s got this!
