The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Modeling Leadership

In 2020 when the churches were declared unessential by the “powers-that-be” here in New York, a small group of us formed CLOTH (Christian Leaders Of The Hudson). Here is what that experience has taught me…

While I would agree that credibility is a missing ingredient in Christian leaders, I would argue that the #1 missing ingredient in Christian leaders today is courage. How could any leader who lacks courage possibly encourage others? In fact, if you look at the qualities of leadership in the above “customized” print which was presented to me by the chairwoman of our CLOTH Revival Committee this past January, I believe you will agree that most, if not all of these qualities, require courage. And the #2 missing ingredient, before credibility, arguably tied with courage in the # 1 spot is faith. These two ingredients were inexorably intertwined in 1 Samuel 17 David which I believe made him the greatest leader who ever lived…behind Jesus of course.

Speaking of King David, it occurred to me last year that leadership defaults to those willing to stick their heads up while most everyone else has gone into hiding. That was certainly the setting of the 1 Sam. 17:11 stage that David, the least of his brothers, walked onto…which now brings a third ingredient to light ahead of credibility. Heart. Of course! God looks at the heart. Which leads us to the following…

“(1 Cor. 13:1) This chapter is known as the ‘love chapter.’  It is set as a great stumbling block in the Scriptures to destroy any Christian who will not tolerate the negative truths of the Bible (nearly three-quarters of its content). A ‘god’ who is all love is a perverted god. God loves good and hates evil. Love without hate is not real love.” ~ Ruckman Reference Bible

As Ruckman observes, this is the great virus that has infected the modern church and churchmen today, rendering both it and them impotent in the face of an enemy that is taking full advantage. Hating what God hates requires the #1 quality in the Leadership acronym above, Loyalty. And loyalty would require God’s men to come from behind the church walls, Bible studies and civics classrooms to defend God’s honor where it matters…in the political arena! That is the exact place where the ten qualities of leadership are not only tested, but they are also proven. Amen? To Maxwell’s point on lost credibility as the direct result of the lack of courage, faith, and heart in church leadership today, it is no wonder that 97% of millennials do not have a Biblical worldview. This makes them and the rest of us easy prey for the enemy we have lost the power to discern…

Hating what God hates means we as men are called to “fight”…fight for what God loves, which first and foremost has to be our children. A Texas man recently killed the man who raped his little girl…and was acquitted. I asked an elder in my church who works as a security guard at a local hospital if he was armed and he reacted as if I asked a crazy question. We have got to snap out of this conditioning brothers and get back in the game where God made us to be. It’s time to lead, follow, or get out of the way!

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Christian Authority & Angels From Devils

Who can tell?

The Lord told me to tell His people that He is able to back up His word if Christians would use their authority. I asked Jesus why the Church seems, at times, to be so defeated? He showed me that if His people will return to the basics of His Word use it coupled together with their authority, demons must obey! They don’t have a choice. In other words, demons tremble and run when we walk, talk and agree with Word of God. My old boss and a sister in distress brought it all home to me with God waking me up around 2am on Friday morning to connect the dots. I retired after 26 years with AXA-Equitable in 2020. Very early on in my career…mid-nineties, I remember the advice of the top leader in our region; “Fake it until you make it.” As it turns out I was good enough make it without faking it…by my standards. What I mean by that is I never really measured up to the corporate standards of success because I never really fully joined the club. My old boss Tony, for whom I had tremendous admiration and respect, appeared to me in a dream early Friday morning. The sister in distress reached out to a group of us on Thursday asking for prayer for “God to comfort her to sleep.” The correlation? That’s exactly the dots God woke me up to connect (I’m typing these words at 3:24am). We all, every single one of us, have angelic and demonic spirits inside of us. Believers and unbelievers alike. Both demonic and angelic vary by degree in terms of light and darkness, good and evil. Suffice for now to think of demonic spirit to be that which is not of God, and the angelic, that which is. I can tell you that, while I would never have admitted this at the time, the demonic held sway in my life up until the moment I was saved in 2015…the moment I realized (thank you Pastor Kirby) that the nearer I drew to God, the nearer He would draw to me {James 4:8} And the truth of the preceding verse {James4:7} just dawned on me this (Friday) morning; the moment I started to draw near was the same moment I began my resistance…forcing the devil to flee. In other words, demons tremble and run when we walk, talk, and agree with the Word of God.

A wise person who has built his life in confidence in God will appear a fool when he is among people who are sleek and cunning…The wisdom of God is arrant stupidity to the wisdom of the world, until all of a sudden God makes the wisdom of the world foolish (see 1 Cor. 1:23-25). ~ Oswald Chambers, Shame of the Gospel

So even now, He is showing me that nine years later, while the spirit balance has shifted tremendously, there is still something(s) in my life holding me back from the finished man we all know as Christians God has made us to be…just as sure as there is something in the sister’s life keeping her from sleep.

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men…ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils. ~ 1 Corinthians 7:23; 10:21

I know now that in 1995 when the demonic spirit enjoyed the amount of influence it had in my life, it was the angelic that kept me from joining the club. It may have been smaller and quieter, but I know now it was God Himself doing what He does so amazingly well. Our perfect Abba Father.

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Truth & Fatalism

This week’s Psalm & Proverb a Day brought me to one of my favorite verses from my favorite Psalm 23:5, Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over…which prompted a friend to provide the last verse of Psalm 91 with his own commentary, “Christian warriors never fight alone.” While his words ring true and rhyme rather nicely with the old saying, “one man with courage is a majority,” it can be a bit discouraging watching friends who turn out to be pretenders and cowards peeling away as the boot comes down…

TRUTH

I had a very profound thought this morning which I now pray will wake up the church. I have made very good friends within the Chinese Falun Gong community. I truly love, respect, and admire them. They are among the most beautiful and loving people I have ever come to know. They have been very persistently trying to recruit me into their spiritual practice. I read their book, and learned their exercises, personally trained by their association leader. But yesterday I had to draw the line, Jesus Christ alone is my Lord and Savior. The profound thought was the similarity to our church community…nice, loving, good…and equally blind to the TRUTH.

The enemy is hoping that you will continue to remain blind, and the best part is, the longer that you remain blind, and you establish your blindness and your household with blindness, well, guess what? The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Turning Point/Run to the Roar!

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. ~ Matthew 7:21-23

What Pastor Mark described as “The Terrible Text” a few weeks back when he spoke to the three groups of humanity; those who don’t know they need to be saved, those who think they’re saved who are not {Mat. 7:21-23}, and those who are actually saved. “Only 3% of Christians are living in the Faith. Only 3% of pastors are living in the Faith.” ~ Jamie Waldron, Omega Dynamics. Here’s a cold hard fact: If the 97% of shadow-boxing Christians and pastors dancing in the darkness of their own irrelevance were to finally wake up and, as Bishop Samuel Vagalas Kanco puts it, “Stand in the authority of Jesus, get aggressive, conquer the land—to cast out devils,” all the world would come to Christ.

Anyone who has ever dealt with a friend or family member suffering from addiction, whether it be drugs, alcohol, gambling, pornography…you name it, knows the unholy trinity of denial, deception, and manipulation. Another far less discussed form of addiction has emerged in our culture, self-addiction with all its narcissistic siblings; self-preservation, self-absorbed, self-conscious.

It’s been a very revealing couple of weeks on a number of fronts. Scott had two back-to-back interviews that struck me as an American Eagle coin. The Pete Santilli interview revealed the America’s problem side of the coin. The Jarrin Jackson interview revealed the America’s solution side. And then just the other night BOOM! The Jamie Waldron interview reveals what is standing in the way: American Christianity in total denial. American Christianity is the most disgusting brand of Christianity I’ve ever seen on the face of the earth, and I’ve seen it everywhere on the face of the earth.” ~ Jamie Waldron

I observed the following several weeks ago: A very civically engaged single mom spoke to a roomful of Christians which included several pastors, to make them aware of a nefarious bill known as the Equal Rights Amendment which will appear on our New York ballots in November. If it passes, parents will no longer have the ultimate authority over their minor child’s sexual identity or reproductive rights/health issues. I saw American Christianity in denial on the face of one of the pastors present (who, in my humble opinion, represents the majority of pastors in our county), total indifference to what this passionate mother had to say. “The opposite of love is not hate. I’ve been trying to get Christians back on to the field since I was saved in 2015. I thought the lockdowns would do it. I was wrong. One would think that the headline, “The Mutilation of Children Must Be Stopped!” would do it. One would be mistaken. Audrey Werner of Matthew 18 Ministry traces the roots of the “ineffectual church” (Ruckman Reference Bible…2009!!) back to the Sanger/Kinsey “shift” leading men to abandon their roles of love and protection for sex and recreation. These are the same men who closed His doors to the very people who needed Him when they needed Him most! These are the same men who impugned the rock-solid faith of Tricia S. Lindsay Esq., who brought God’s Word on September 24th, “The pastors need to repent for bowing to the enemy and closing their doors.” Who can argue? Only those in total denial.

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ “Invincible Ignorance”

The “Incorruptible Class”

And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. ~ Numbers 13:30-31

What set Caleb and Joshua apart from the other ten spies sent by Moses? Their relationship with God…

“I feel like God has let go of me…”

God NEVER lets us go…He lets us grow which at times feels like He’s letting us go.

“I feel like God has let go of me” expressed by a sister/friend this week has a very eerie “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” ring to it, no? What sets the sister/friend apart from Jesus’ cry from the Cross {Mat. 27:46}? Their relationship to God.

A fanatic is one who entrenches himself in invincible ignorance. Job will not accept anything that contradicts the facts he knows; he is not melancholy, he does not say God is cruel, he simply states the facts—“It looks as though God is rejecting me without any reason, all the facts go to prove this and I am not going to avoid them.” Job will not lay a flattering unction to his soul on the line of expediency. No man ever puts a stumbling block in the way of others by telling the truth; to tell the truth is more honoring to God than to tell a lie. ~ Oswald Chambers, Conceptions for Rejection

Now, please understand, I am not singling out and placing my sister/friend in the dubious category of invincible ignorance by any stretch…I am placing all of us there. The ONLY way to remove our veil of invincible ignorance is to examine our relationship to God right alongside and step by step to the relationship Jesus had with His Father. Think of human relationships through the stages; stranger, acquaintance, friend, best friend, in-love (oft referred to as soulmate). Where does our relationship to God fall on this spectrum? I can tell you that tragically for most Americans, as I witnessed in a video clip Friday morning, the relationship most of us have with God falls somewhere between stranger and acquaintance. In the video a man approaches random people filling up their cars at a gas station and offers to pay for their fill-up if they can recite one Bible verse to him. Only one man in ten or twelve was able. And then we have the audacity to blame God for the global mess we ourselves have created! Jesus, on the other hand, in contrast to the other ten and the sister/friend, was fulfilling Psalm 22:1 prophecy while offering Himself up…the unblemished lamb to atone for the sins of all humanity, past, present, and future! I’m pretty sure that’s the in-love stage. Amen?

Growth = Change. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. ~ Romans 12:2

And the best defense against change? You guessed it, Invincible Ignorance! On the other hand…

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment. ~ 1 Chronicles 12:32

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ At the Wall

A moral agony gives a man a “second wind,” and he runs better after it, and is a good deal more likely to win. (Shad. Agony) ~ Oswald Chambers, At the Wall of the World

If you haven’t hit your moral agony wall yet my friend, trust me when I say, “Buckle up buttercup.” God presented a powerful crossroads where faith and man meet in the final showdown of all showdowns this week. He presented the Wall of the World to me along with Job {42:10}, Esther {5:3}, Paul’s account of Abraham in Romans {4:12}, Stephen Prouse, Sons of Thunder, and the FULL armor of God a la Ruckman Reference Bible.

Pastor Mark brought a great message to Howells last Sunday in which he distilled all of humanity down to three types of people; the lost who don’t know they need to be saved, those who think they’re saved and are not, and those who are saved and know they are saved. What God was showing me by presenting Job, Esther, and Abraham up against the Chambers Wall, was first and foremost, it takes moral character to suffer moral agony, and second, a strength of faith that is “above all” {Eph. 6:16}.

“Modern Christianity has become so sissified, with its emphasis on positive thinking, amateur psychology, and ‘family values’ counselling, that it has completely lost its military element and has become totally ineffectual.” ~ Ruckman Reference KJV Bible footnotes on Ephesians 6:10-20

For the many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father. ~ Romans 8:14-15

As we move closer and closer to the wall the trials will grow more intense, the pretenders in your circle will fall away, as the contenders drawn together will grow stronger. This is the time to look to and draw from the qualities of Job, Esther, Paul, and Abraham. If you do not see their willingness to sacrifice in you, dig deeper until you do. If you don’t find their courage in you, then keep digging until you do. God will favor you once you find them.

True Story

This weekend our newly formed County Constitutional Compliance Committee applied to the promoters/organizers of the Middletown Gun Show for a table to collect signatures on four 1st Amendment Petitions to Remove the UN, Stop the Invasion, Protect Our Medical Freedom, and Ban the Chemtrails. We were denied. Yes, you read right. A 2A group denied our 1A group! But God will always present the Great Solution when we walk the walk! The justification of every sinner is by faith, and by faith alone. But it is our just walk that proves Him just in saving us. If we do not walk in the life of faith, we are a slander to God. ~ Oswald Chambers, The Great Solution: The Mount  Hope Chinese Association, our staunch allies in raising awareness to the CCP role in destroying the very heart of America…the family, stepped up to give us a table! And here’s the best part of all. We might have collected more signatures at the gun show, but not only did we get THE most important signature in our county on all four petitions, we also met the independent filmmaker who just completed his documentary “The Border War” after working on it for the past one and one-half years. He signed all four as well. It will debut February 26th! God’s most consistent MO is quality over quantity. Don’t be caught short…brothers. The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ “Be The Change!”

It’s well beyond interesting to me how God reveals what He reveals and when He reveals…He brought two men unknown to each other to introduce a tandem immune system that could have ONLY been designed and created by God to answer the how, what, and when, precisely at the start of this year of all years. Our First Amendment rightful authority through “Interposition” introduced by Constitutional scholar G.R. Mobley as the means for American society to legally protect itself from a government infected by evil, and “the finished Word of God” introduced by the author of Concealed From Christians for the Glory of God, The 1611 KJV by G. John  Rōv as the means to protect the Body of Christ from the very same infection to bring about a John 17:21 healing…when God is good and ready! Amen?  

A king of the lost boys by the name of Mick Jagger introduced himself to my generation as Satan in a song called Sympathy for the Devil recorded in 1968. Well…please allow me to introduce you to the REMNANT:

Interestingly, it just so happens that our Orange Strong (Strength in Unity) Bible Study began 2024 in the Book of Isaiah. The Book of Isaiah, G. John informs us, is the Bible’s immune system…a mini-Bible within the Bible. The Bible contains 66 books, and Isaiah 66 chapters, each one corresponding to the 66 books in chronological order that ONLY God could have accomplished. There’s SO much more you will learn when you read his book as I have been blessed to do.

One more very important thing God pointed out to me through John C. Maxwell just this morning that separates His remnant from the sleeping Laodicean Church. When we stop worrying about our rights, it focuses us in the right direction and releases us to move forward on the journey. In closing, I see so many of my brothers and sisters fighting predominantly in the flesh of the battlespace of the Hegelian Dialectic, diabolically designed by the enemy. The lion’s share of essential time and energy in the social media space debating the uncontrollable this or that, etc. Versus the time and energy we spend seeking a closer relationship with God, and communing with Him. It occurred to me this week that though we are spiritual beings having a physical experience in this world, we are fighting as physical beings having the occasional spiritual experience. In Martial Arts, we refer to it as “fighting in the shoulders”, tense, stiff, very white belt, as opposed to centered, breathing, relaxed. Trust me…No, Trust Him…when we learn to relax and let Him lead everything flows, everything changes. That’s because you are now fighting with His energy rather than your own. Amen? I posted this comment in a Facebook thread put up by a friend this past week focused on the gender meme above: Yes…until our Luke 22:54-62 moment. What will our testimony be then? Asked by another commentor what scripture of Peter denying Christ had to do with my friend’s meme post, I replied, Gladly sister…we are ALL on this thread coming to a place very soon where we will be forced by circumstance to choose between our own worldly survival or the Truth…as was Peter.

I think the reason memes are so effective is their ability to convert tragedy into humor. The tragic reality behind the gender meme is that we are a nation in judgment because of our sin, and we are losing our children. God hates a weak man.

God put the term Dead Reckoning in my head before Scott’s podcast this week in which he provided an amazing and masterful replay of the course our country has navigated since 2016 on BardsFM: Days of Reckoning …as our “previously determined position” leading to the “current position” we find ourselves in.

Now, a ship on the sea has a captain and a crew, much the same as the Ecclesia (Body of Christ). The ship’s captain is a man with the full authority over the ship and crew. We are fortunate to have God the Father, His Son, and the Holy Ghost with the full authority over not only us, but over all the captains, ships, and crews on all the seas of the earth as well as the heavens above. And yet, I would argue that while most all the captains, ships, and crews are making their ports in timely fashion, while we, the Body of Christ have been lost at sea for countless years it seems.

Yesterday I watched a message from Stephen Prouse that caused me to self-examine and dead reckon my own self. I have been pretty hard on pastors and churchmen over these past several years. Stephen’s loving wisdom expressed towards his own pastor quite early in the video hit me exactly how God intended, and it softened my heart. I encourage every man, young and old, to watch these Christian men talking about where we are RIGHT HERE!

One of the things Stephen and the men talk about is the importance of learning how to listen to God by spending more time with Him…sort of like my own James 4:8 light of Truth discovery in 2015…which has given me the ears to hear Him this week in the triangulation of three consecutive Oswald Chambers messages:

  1. Conscience is that faculty in me that attaches itself to the highest that I know, and tells me what the highest I know demands that I do. ~ Keep Inner Vision Clear
  2. The blunder of the saint lies in saying, “Because I decide this in this crisis, therefore is the rule for all.” Nonsense! God is sovereign and His ways are discernable according to the attainment of the particular character. ~ Personal Responsibility

  1. Are we ready to give up our Ezra 9 strange wives?
  2. And how will we ever make it to port navigating from 400 different charts?

Earlier in the week Scott introduced us to Amway diamond distributor-turned whistleblower Judah Ayers who revealed Amway’s connection to the beast, and how so many of his Amway peers and colleagues had become “Ambots”…robotic slaves to the material wealth, fortune, and fame they had amassed through Amway.

My dream from last night…

Counterfeit Heaven

I was invited to a party by an old friend who turned out not to be a friend we called Red Bird who had named me South COMM. His house was a mansion with many rooms. And it was filled with many beautiful people, young and old. Some of them knew me but I did not know them. They told me they liked my songs. Others I knew but they did not seem to recognize me. There was an older couple who sang a beautiful song together in perfect harmony. There were babies not even a year old on the floor doing complex yoga positions. Everyone was very friendly…as the night wore on I was working my way to the upper floors and rooms and there was a young teenager selling what I believe were soccer tickets as some sort of fundraiser for his school…I wanted to purchase but I had no cash…that’s when a man in his thirties offered to assist…he had what I perceived to be an important role in the beautiful mansion  with many rooms. As he and his assistant, a younger man led me about, people making way for us, I felt I was being groomed for success. I even got a few laughs at one point when I joked that I was working my way to the Board Room! Then a very strange thing happened that seemed to break some sort of spell…I was trying to remember the plot of a movie I had recently seen that I wanted to recommend to the young man and his assistant…I began to slowly convey the movie about a man who was trapped in the Board Room at the very top and managed after many years to work his way down to find himself among the common people…he made it all the way down and out…to freedom…and as I got to the end of telling them about the movie they lost interest and disappeared. So, I simply turned around and worked my way down and out before waking up around 3:30am to write it all down.  

Brothers and sisters, yesterday may have been the first time in fifteen years of writing the Tune-ups where I found myself all the way to Saturday without God having given me anything to write. That is until I picked up Concealed From Christians yesterday afternoon and read chapter 31 followed by the dream at 3am this morning! You might say He concealed today’s Tune-up from me until His perfect timing. We are That Generation. When I think of my old Leadership Orange classmate from the class of ‘95/’96 Will M who I reconnected with over the summer who looked me square in the eye to tell me night was day and day was night…and so many of my brothers and sisters who have willfully blinded themselves into “this church of the Laodiceans generation”…comfortably numb.

My advice? Stop listening to the voice of the enemy who is telling you not to evacuate but to stay put and wait for help. How many might have saved themselves on 9/11 had they listened to the right voice…instead of that same voice that would tell them they needed an illegal DNA-modifying injection to save them from a non-existent pathogen with a 99% survival rate ten years later? GET OUT NOW!! Work your way down and out to freedom while you still can.

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ “Our Own Understanding” {Prov. 3:5}

From Chapter 21 Equality Or Truth, Concealed from Christians for the Glory of God, G. John Rōv:

To seek God through the lens of fairness rather than truth, is to never come to know Him. When the question arises in the heart, “is this fair?” we are thinking in a sinful man centered way, leaning on our own understanding (Prov. 3:5). We must rather ask, “is this true?” This is a holy God centered approach.

I had just read the above passage from Chapter 21 hours before a team-call covering our authority as Americans to hold our elected officials and public servants accountable to their oaths through the “interposition” right enshrined in the 1st Amendment of our Constitution the following morning. And what came up during that call? The woke infection sweeping our nation whereby the mad dash for “equity” has trumped and even derailed the light of truth! A light that would reveal, among other things, the very tools God has given us to legally right our ship.

Just as God is opening my eyes to KJV through Rōv’s book, and the Equality or Truth challenge I come across two messages from two alpha-male subscribers to the holy God centered approach:

A warning to warriors: Remember one time when the cowards rode in, when the threat and danger had been abated…after the battle and tried to pretend they missed it rather than avoided it. Cowards are not neutral. They will murder their own flesh and blood to get what they want, and yours as well if you don’t stop them in their tracks. My oh my, how the old man lingers like a shadow that follows our every step, looking for ways to sneak back in. One such way is through a weak or broken helmet of salvation {Eph. 6:17} that allows our minds to twist scriptures like Prov. 3:5 and John 15:5 to see ourselves as weak and impotent nothings, rather than the powerful and mighty sons God made us to be!

WE ARE BEING HUNTED!

So how do men with weak or no Eph. 6:17 helmets respond? As Stephen Prouse puts it, they bounce from church bubble to Bible study bubble, to Christian music bubble. They will even make up cool names for their bubbles like “War Room” and even refer to each other as “men of valor”, but guess what…

It really hit home in my spirit. And then I came across Psalm 144:11 “Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:”…and the closing scripture I close today’s Tune-up with,1 Corinthians 1:10…and I realize His warning in the juxtaposition of the two! On one hand, as my Psalm & Proverb a Day read on Thursday seemed to set the stage for 1 Cor. 1:10 and Acts 16:22-40 greatest prison break of all time, which I do believe God is preparing for His bride, there is a deadly spirit within…the right hand of falsehood…the spirit of diabolical narcissism within our ranks that, as Doc points out, will go to any measure to preserve itself. Especially deadly in our pulpits…think Ray Epps in robes.

Psalm (Heart) & Proverb (Wisdom) a Day Drives the Tyrant Away! PS 129:4 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.
