…respond by going deeper in your Faith. Significantly, Adams was fifty-eight when he made this diary entry, and it had been from his youth to read the entire Bible every year. So despite having already read this passage from Isaiah “I dare say fifty times,” he still saw something brand new in it. As he confessed, “I was struck with the careless inattention of my own mind when reading the Bible,” and it is for this reason that meditation receives such an emphasis in the Bible. We must read God’s Word every day; but we must also take time to digest what we read—to “meditate in your own heart…and be still” (Psalm 4:4) ~ The Founders’ Bible, Meditating on God’s Word

I should like to point out, for the purpose of today’s message, that John Quincy Adams, like his father before him, was a man of action as well as a man of deep faith. In fact, I would argue that it was the deepness of his faith that increased the effectiveness of his action. Anyone who has studied the life of John Quincy Adams knows and understands the point I am making.

Pure evil is out in the open, in our faces, and coming for each and every single one of us, along with everything…and I do mean everything we hold dear. This past Tuesday I grabbed my “NO JAB, NO MASK” sign, a couple of dozen “Informed Consent” brochures and headed out to a rally on Route 211 in Middletown where I stood side-by-side with healthcare workers and teachers who are being told they have to inject spike proteins, graphene oxide, and aborted fetal cells into their bodies or lose their jobs and ability to provide for their families. I had a man who had just come out of Walmart react with rage when I tried to hand him an Informed Consent brochure, “WHY DON’T YOU JUST TAKE THE VACCINE?” When I asked him if he could tell me what ingredients were in the injection, he became so furious he nearly ran into a light pole trying to get away from me. 

The man in the picture above is the owner of the Grange, a restaurant in Warwick that announced it will only serve those who have taken experimental gene therapy injections issued under the EUA into their bodies. He handed me back the pocket Constitution he clearly has no use for and ran back inside his restaurant, unable to stand his own ground, after I asked him what he had against our cherished Bill of Rights, and why he was standing with the enemies of our Constitutional freedom.

I can’t begin to tell you how many moms I am talking to, who are beside themselves and sick with worry over what they are sending their children into with schools looking less and less like schools, and more and more like re-engineering internment camps, and worse. And many of them because of their stand for freedom, will be out of work on top of everything else. God, I wish I could tell you prayer alone would save the day. But I’d be lying to you. As sure as God made us, it is prayer that gives wings to our faith, and faith that breathes courage into action.

Speaking of courage…

Does anyone see the positive correlation between courage and growth when it comes to Christianity?

What would American pastors, and American Christians, do when faced with the same situation? I think we know.

Do you think maybe the population of Afghanistan has seen the persecution of Christians, seen what the Taliban has done to them, and yet observe the faithfulness of Christians in spite of it? Do you think they see their courage and want to find out who this “Jesus” is that is worth losing everything, including their lives, for?

Tonight at 11 pm our time, churches will begin meeting on the afghani Sunday morning. We will probably hear a mixture of gunfire and church music over Kabul as Taliban fighters raid churches and kill those there.

The Christians will have left their homes that morning knowing they aren’t coming back. They will kiss and hug their families, praying together, and then together walk to church, because they would rather die than miss a chance to worship the God they love.

Our present government, because of its own default and defection, has its hands covered with new blood, and the disgraceful story of deception and of defeat is not at all over!  This I believe, avoidable tragedy, comes just before the solemn 20th anniversary of 9/11/2001, adding to and compounding the injury and insult suffered by our Nation’s families, and especially by our veterans – not to speak of those brave military members who paid the supreme price in both Iraq & Afghanistan!  In addition we have left behind about 85 billion dollars worth of working military equipment for our enemies to use against us, including scanners with US biometric data to identify and to hunt down those who collaborated with our allies!  First of all, America is forsaking the God of her fathers!  While religious, she has nevertheless abandoned established biblical and moral values!  This has resulted in moral confusion, social chaos and lawlessness across the board!  Then, with an anti-Constitutional and pro-socialist, welfare state agenda, we are being deliberately undermined by major enemies such as Communist China.  Have we become the laughing stock of our enemies?  Furthermore, we are no longer really considered to absolutely trustworthy, especially by our most faithful ally Israel!  We have rapidly lost our spiritual, moral and political integrity, and we are quickly sinking as a true democracy and as the leader of the free world!  To be silent about this would be complicity with evil, even if one claims to be a Christian!  True prophets must declare God’s Word on any matter and expose the lies of the enemy, especially in our present culture of dishonesty and deceit….yea, let God be true, but every man a liar…(Romans 3:4)!  Let us as the followers of Christ stand together in love for the truth and shine brightly for Him in the present and growing darkness!  We are the children of light!  God bless you richly!  Trust in the Lord, and shine for Him – as we look for His soon return! ~ Rev. At the end of the day, we know the same enemy behind the Taliban is the same enemy behind the indoctrination of our children, instilling fear and faithlessness while stealing the very smiles of their childhood, injections of gene altering mRNA, the fetal cells of aborted babies, toxic spike protein and graphene oxide MEANT TO KILL US!

Wake up! Stand up! Pray up! And remember, A Psalm A Day Keeps The Tyrant At Bay!

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Love, Hope, & “Honor”

The Battle Plan

…for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. ~ Ephesians 6:20

Out of the blue I began to write the word “love” in my At-a-Glance day calendar book that I keep to remind me of where I am supposed to be each day. I started this last Prayer & Fast Wednesday, August 18th. Last P&FW our prayer focus was on God tasking Gideon during a hopeless time for Israel living under the oppressive boot of Midian chronicled in Judges 6. Holy Spirit led me to His tasking Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer during a hopeless time for His people centuries later, as a parallel and key part of the focus in our P&FW invite. The very next day, He connected the third dot…to love.

Its hard to describe what actually happened on Thursday, August 19th because it’s a 1st person view. It is always much easier to write about another. But I will tell you that this past Thursday was a culmination event. It was the tumblers clicking into place at the Hand of the Master safe-cracker of all time, prayed into place from the 2020 Pentecost fourteen months earlier right here in Slate Hill. Covid was five months old when I dropped to my knees on the Sunday night of May 31st 2020 and prayed to God to open my eyes and heart to what He was trying to tell us. He answered…

First, He led me to a new church where I could breathe the fresh air only the Holy Spirit can bring. A church where filling the hearts trumps any concern over filling the pews or paying bills. A church where the Truth of the Gospel is the ONLY Word. A church where the false doctrine of Social Justice is identified, rebuked, and rejected…where tongues are free of the chains of political correctness. A church where the Good Shepherd Pastor Steve walks and talks Ephesians 6:20, armed with Paul’s same love for Jesus Christ.

Second, He led a small group of believers to form CLOTH (Christian Leaders Of The Hudson) as a way of uniting church leaders to build relationship with one another to strengthen His ecclesia, and fulfil His final John 17:21 prayer for us to be ONE with Him.

Third, He modified the Relationship Triangle illustrated above originally shown to me as a marriage counseling tool by Pastor Adams in 2016. He showed me how the same concept could empower us to overcome the enemy’s favorite weapon…the wall of FEAR. There was only one thing missing. We needed Battle Prayer. Enter the ministry of Rev. Ampah and Aimee Johnson of the Vision Harvest Ministries…right here in Slate Hill, New York! Now, believe me when I tell you, we have the devil’s attention.

And now, to the “culminating event” of this past Thursday, August 19th 2021. I knew I was called to attend the Minisink Board of Education Meeting (walking distance from Pastor Ampah’s prayer turrets) that evening. What I had no way of knowing until that morning was that God was connecting me to the invincible power of His love through the spirit of David…I was simply the empty vessel bringing it. It is all explained here Love & “Honor”.

Amazing song. I truly felt God’s presence with you Thursday evening. It was like nothing I ever experienced before. When you approached me, I felt a sense of comfort and strength after speaking without the microphone. I could just tell the Lord was with you in that moment. God Bless! ~ A Mom

The Truth Too Few Are Brave Enough To Face…

Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him. ~ Job 13:15…from my Chambers’ read yesterday, Instinctive Integrity

Two of my favorite words; instinct and integrity.

In-stinct: an inherited tendency of an organism or species to behave in a certain way that is usually a reaction to something in the environment and that fulfills a basic need.

In-teg-ri-ty: the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness:

“he is known to be a man of integrity”.

Cowardice would be my least favorite word, as many of my well-tuned readers know by now. Though there is integrity by degree, one may find instinct in cowardice. But seldom, if ever, will one find cowardice in integrity, or integrity in cowardice. In fact, survival instinct are two words paired together most frequently. The survival instinct in the coward is often the survival of self at the expense of other, while the survival instinct of integrity is for the survival of other at the expense of self. German Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer would be the perfect example. In his final hours after 39 years on this earth, he was more concerned with the survival of the church than is own neck. He was the living example of “Costly Grace”.

My friend and mentor Rev. Bill Banuchi says, “As the church goes, so goes the man. As the man goes, so goes the marriage. As the marriage goes, so goes the family. As the family goes, so goes the neighborhood. As the neighborhood goes, so goes the community. And as the community goes, so goes the nation.” Because of these words, with which I am in complete and total agreement, cowardice in the pulpit is the great killer of nations. God’s perfect timing, as I find myself this morning on page 347, chapter 22 of Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy. The title of chapter 22 is, “The End of Germany”. And far, far worse than that…when there is cowardice in political leadership, the people’s power is lost. When there is cowardice in military leadership, people’s lives are lost. But when there is cowardice in the pulpit, people’s souls are lost.

The view of the Job 13:15 quote from the pulpit of “cheap grace” is, “Though he (man) slay me, yet will I trust Him.” Therefore, who am I to speak out, or stop him?

There are tragically few examples of Ephesians 6:20 boldness in the pulpit today. I give thanks and praise God for one such voice…

Today, as the church, our nation, and the world find themselves in the unprecedented danger of departure from God, of deceit, and of deliberate deafness to the voices of truth, His alarms are sounding loudly to warn and to rescue those in both immediate and imminent danger! But who will hear and listen to the voices of truth in our culture of both religious and political deception! As the Jews were packed into rail box cars and headed to Nazi extermination camps, churches within a stone’s throw from the rail lines had worship as usual, singing over the cries of those soon to be gassed. America is being dismantled right before our very eyes, and many who profess Christ are just piously turning a deaf ear to the reality of our Nation’s destruction and death. Not so with the true prophets and people of God! “When the enemy shall come in like a flood; the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:19)!  What “standard” or “banner” does the Holy Spirit lift up?  It is CHRIST and Him alone (see John 16:14)!  We must unashamedly and without further hesitation sound God’s alarm, less we be held responsible for both death and loss!  Read Ezekiel 3:17-21 (The Watchman) and Joel 2:12-17 (The LORD’s command to “Blow the trumpet in Zion…)!  And Paul said, not only to Timothy but to every faithful man of God and preacher, to “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and doctrine” (2 Timothy 4:2)!  Whose orders are we to follow as believers, and especially as leaders?  We are not lawless, but when it comes to a moral choice between God and His Word or man’s orders, we must choose God above all else – regardless of the consequences (Daniel 3:16-17-18; Acts 4:19-20)!  When God and state become separated, we find ourselves in great danger of His divine and deserved judgment, and America is at that place – now!  Let us soberly remember, however, “that judgment must begin at the house of God…” (1 Peter 4:17)!  Let it begin with us, as we humbly trust and follow our God!  May He bless you!  Always in the love of Christ, Pastor Steve Offringa

What are YOU doing?

He leads me from Esther to Job in this week of all weeks. Praise the Lord if He has given you eyes to see, and ears to hear His Word through the din. If you do not see, hear, and feel His shaking, then you have not been so blessed. I did have a brother say to me this past Friday, “This isn’t shaking.” I replied, “I’m not talking about physical…yet.” Like I said to a friend I was speaking to yesterday about the same thing as I pulled up to the light at the intersection of 208 and 17K, “Physically, this intersection and the people driving through it looks the same as it did ten or even twenty years ago. Spiritually…emotionally…psychologically…a totally different ballgame.” It’s not about what God is doing. It’s ALL about what Satan is doing, and what we are not doing in response to it. The following passage was from this week’s Prayer & Fast Wednesday invite:

Now is a very good time to re-examine what it means to “dwell in the shelter of the Most High” as it is the qualifier for the protection AND salvation promised us according to His Word in Psalm 91. Are you dwelling in the shelter at this moment in time? Before you answer, allow me to provide you with my favorite Bible heroine who chose His shelter at one of the most critical moments in Biblical History.

Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish!” ~ Esther 4:15, 16

If you can find the time, I highly recommend this video of Eric Metaxas and Sean Feucht discussing What Would Bonhoeffer Do Today? I found myself in the company of three men on fire for the Lord yesterday. My Christian brother and mentor Rev. Bill Banuchi, who brought a very powerful message on the times we are living in and God’s purpose for every one of us, and two men who had the miraculous experience of being saved from the jaws of certain death. One of them a local pastor, and the other a future pastor. The local pastor’s faith literally healed what his doctors were unable to fix in both his heart and his lungs. And the future pastor walked away from an accident “nobody could have survived” without a scratch. Purpose. Purpose. Purpose.

I think we all know what Bonhoeffer wouldn’t do today. He wouldn’t wait silently in the face of evil for God to fix what God gave him the spirit of courage and purpose for. Interestingly, there arose a difference of opinion within our CLOTH group concerning prayer. One voice says we do not have the power to loose, bind, and rebuke demonic entities or Satan. Only God has that power. The other voice claims we have been given the authority by God to do battle with the enemy in just this way for just this purpose…purpose…purpose. There are more than a few verses in scripture that support “Battle Prayer”. I said to a fellow believer yesterday, I can’t find any scriptural support or justification for the See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil response from way too many church pulpits today. The very same night that the disagreement over prayer came up, God brought The Train to me in a dream…I believe as a warning to some very good men who need to remember what it means to be very good men again. Oh, I almost forgot…The Esther to Job transition. Job does follow Esther in the Bible, but I also think how normally life is the other way around…we suffer before we’re saved. I believe God is telling us, having delivered Haman into our hands, that we are already saved…and now we must prepare to endure tremendous suffering to come out on the right side of things again.

The Train by Chip Murray 8/4/21

This was the day She had waited for Her entire life, or so it seemed. She was finally going to see and experience the city of all cities, New York City. The city She had heard about, read about, and dreamed about…She was going to be walking the very streets She dreamed about with the man of Her dreams in just a little over an hour from now, She thought to herself as She looked away from Her husband to glance anxiously up the tracks from the Ridgewood train station to where the train would be coming from.

He was busy studying the faces of the rest of the crowd on the station platform wondering how many of them were half as blessed as he, to be with the One who made life worth living, and in return had given him a purpose and a calling…as good and faithful servant to the One he said yes to one year ago to the day. Just then the approaching train whistle sounded as everyone gathered themselves to prepare for boarding.

She looked around the car as it was leaving the station, appreciating the styles and pleasantries of the other passengers as they greeted one another, as many if not most of them must have been traveling this route together for years upon years. She could actually feel the gentil comfort of suburbia as She peered out at the passing homes and neighborhoods of Bergen County through the train car window. He was already deep into his read, Prayer Warrior, by Brandon House.

Strangely, as they drew nearer New York City, the passing neighborhoods seemed less cozy and comfortable and appeared more cramped yet somehow distant at the same time. A gradual chill permeated as the same distance seemed to appear on the faces of the passengers as the train car steadily became more filled and eventually packed through the half a dozen or so stops. By now he had put his book down and was busy engaging his fellow passengers, sharing stories about his Wife. How he loved to talk about his Wife. Just before the final stop in Hoboken, a nasty woman in a red dress with a nose ring wearing a pink hat with ears, brushed by their seat, and with an angry glare snapped, “Mind your own business!” at his poor Wife for simply being. Oddly, he continued his conversation with the other passenger as if nothing at all had happened. She, on the other hand, felt something foreign, a shift in their relationship like nothing She’d ever experienced with him before this moment.

By the time they were underground, in a different world, the welcome distractions of the subway artists and musicians slowly replaced the red flag that had gone up in Her mind. She found herself smiling again…thinking of an old song lyric…something about the words of prophets written on subway walls and tenement halls, and She wondered if She would be fortunate enough to see them. She thought about Her earliest memory of knowing the look of seeing…wondering if he who loved to look at Her could really see Her. She had never wondered that before now. The sound of the train conductor announcing the next stop brought Her back to the present moment. He was still chatting it up…with a different passenger this time…talking about How She saved him. She grew nervous as a dark-eyed straphanger flirted at Her with every expression but physical from the other side of the car. After a minute or two, She tried to nudge Her husband to make him aware…as if he could not see what everyone else on the car could see by now. She breathed a sigh of relief when they came to a stop and the dark-eyed stranger left the train, with a departing victory smirk on his face…a smirk that lingered. Only now there were no pleasant distractions to replace it. The underground darkness grew heavier…as he bantered on about his discipleship as Her husband to yet another new rider…as another song lyric popped into Her head, “You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.”

…and right on cue the dark-eyed stranger was replaced with half a dozen or so brazen young Latino men wearing gang colors and tattoos (including MS-13) covering every square inch of their mostly visible bodies. They swaggered aboard as if to say, “We own this train and every soul on it.” Her husband who had increased his audience size to nearly everyone in the car, appeared completely aloof to and unaware of the new arrivals as he held his flock spell-bound with book, chapter, and verse on the life of the Wife he adored and loved to talk about…as the wolf-pack circled, centering their steel-eyed focus on Her. Fear began to grip Her as She realized her husband was in another world. Just then a lone white man in a red plaid shirt and jeans boarded the train as if in answer to Her prayer. He discerned the heat and source of the moment before his body was through the door. The circling wolves sensed fearlessness and trouble in his eyes and instantly backed down seeking their own cover. The entire train sensed the shift and diverted their attention away from the husband and toward the man.

Feeling completely lost and abandoned, She struggled to process what had just happened. She wrestled with the conflict between being duty-bound to Her husband, and wanting to run to the man who seemed to understand Her danger and was there to protect Her as well as the other passengers. That’s when the husband, losing his audience, and noticing a change in his Wife, sensed a greater threat from the man than the gang he never even seemed to see, called for the conductor to have security remove the man from the train. He was somehow able to convince the conductor, security, and most of the other passengers that there was something troubling about the man…an unnecessary masculine energy…a look…like one of those January 6th “insurrectionist”-white-supremist types that have been all over the news. And just like that, he was off the train as fast as he had boarded.

Within minutes of leaving the last station, the train entered into a dark stretch of tunnel that threw train and passengers into total darkness as the interior lights went out. She could not see her own hand in front of her face as her heart began to beat faster. Seconds turned into minutes, and minutes seemed like hours. And just as she was getting ready to call out to her husband, a hand went over her mouth as she felt more hands clawing, groping, and dragging her out of her seat to what had to be the back of the train. She could feel and hear the ripping of fabric as she was being stripped naked and forced to the floor of the train car. Desperate for help and not knowing what else to do, she bit hard into the hand that was covering her mouth. She heard the wolf scream out in pain as she drew enough air into her lungs, and let out a blood-curdling scream, JEEESSSUSSS!!!!!

Pastor Locke sat straight up, his heart leaping out of his chest as if he’d been hit with a cattle prod. He was drenched with sweat, jolted out of the worst nightmare of his entire life, and he’d suffered his share of bad dreams and nightmares. But this one shook him to his core. He got up to grab a pen and notepad. He knew he needed to write down as much of the dream as he could remember before it evaporated as most dreams do. He absolutely knew in his still pounding heart that God was trying to tell him something. And he made a promise to himself on the spot, he was going to do everything possible to figure out what it was, even if it took him the rest of his life. The few minutes it took for him to write it all down, lowered his heart rate, and made him feel just sleepy enough as he looked at the clock to see he still had four more hours before his alarm would sound. He turned out the bedside lamp, laid his head down, and just as he drifted off, an old hymn he hadn’t heard since he was a boy lullabied him to sleep, Onward Christian Soldier, marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before…

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ The Two Minute Warning

Déjà vu All Over Again!

“He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.”
~ Titus 1:9

On the eve of Pentecost Sunday, May 31, 2020, I prayed for the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to what God was trying to tell us after essentially shutting down the entire world over what we now know to be the greatest, deadliest, and most devastating pile of lies in all of human history. Just 30 days earlier, my brother and mentor in the faith, Pastor Bill brought the message to a small home-church gathering in Bloomingburg, New York, “The Fork In The Road”. As much as I thought I knew about friends, family, co-workers, and fellow church members I never imagined I would witness what I witnessed from that day to the present…which is probably why this quote I came across last week rings so true;

We are in the days that the early church longed to see. There is a remnant of believers who refuse to align with the Babylonian system. CLOTH (Christian Leaders Of The Hudson), formed to heed His John 17:21 call, was the answer to my Pentecostal prayer. The week before last, Holy Spirit revealed the “Two Voices” in the church. As He knew would be the case, the remnant are stepping up, while the majority seem to be choosing the path of least resistance, and what Bonhoeffer would refer to as the seats of cheap grace. And my brothers and sisters, the majority are led to a body of water otherwise known as “the return to normal” by the hidden reefs among us…

The following message was posted by a brother on Facebook this past week…

The role of Pastor / Elder where it comes to confronting false doctrine ( Critical Race Theory>>CRT-I, Social justice, Social gospel, white privilege, original sin, etc)

“He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.”
Titus 1:9

(1) Hold firm to the trustworthy Word…. God’s word
So he can…..
(1) Give instruction on sound doctrine
(2) Rebuke those who contradict sound doctrine
What does this mean?
Pastors and Elders MUST rebuke false doctrine…. Not only the doctrine but also the person pushing it.  That means rebuking Critical Race Theory and people who teach such doctrine.
This is not confusing…..it is black and white.

The two voices were presented to me in the starkest contrast imaginable this past week. The first voice came from my praise team sister in a church shepherded by a pastor who fits the above pastor/elder job description who, acting out of love and concern for the Body of Christ, sent out an email with a video warning people that the vaccine is killing, maiming, and altering their DNA. That took courage. The second voice was presented to me that same afternoon. A brother I had met on the January 6 bus to DC had sent me the video of a pastor who shepherds the largest flock in Orange County. His sermon was on courage. Holy Spirit did not compel me to watch the pastor’s sermon or respond to the sister’s email… until the following morning! My morning Maxwell read was Care Enough to Confront, “Then Nathan said to David, ‘You are the man!’” ~ 2 Samuel 12:7 Imagine our world today had Nathan not confronted David. That was all I needed. I watched the pastor’s sermon on courage and knew right away why I was being directed to it. The sister who took a risk in her action demonstrated costly grace. The pastors who fail to meet the above pastor/elder job description look good presenting “all that glitters”. But aside from taking no risk to deliver a message on courage of all things, those who follow their lead are like deer who stuff their bellies on rhododendron…and die from starvation. ~ “The Courageous Life” As I said to the brother who sent me the video, he is either the hidden reefs Jude warned us of, or he has blinded himself to their existence in the “present waters” of the now. These are the men who are hidden reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted; ~ Jude 1:12

And then I responded by replying all to those in my church family who the sister had warned:

God gives us sun and rain to feed our crops and livestock, and our own bodies. He gives us wisdom and discernment to feed our minds that we may use them to guard and protect all the above. AGENDA: Grinding America Down

Not a single one of us would feed our children food from a cereal company refusing to list ingredients on the box…and yet we would allow a company refusing to list ingredients inject them into the bodies God gave us wisdom and discernment to protect??? The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ The Earnest Contending of Paul & Nehemiah

My Boss

Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints. ~ Jude 1:3

You may recall Terry Malloy’s (Marlon Brando) famous line from the movie, On the Waterfront, “I coulda been a contender.” Actually, now that I think about it, On the Waterfront is the perfect backdrop for this morning’s Tune-up. Why? Because it’s still the same old story, the fight for love and glory, a case of do or die. Only, one might argue that the mob has gotten bigger, meaner, uglier, and way more wicked and evil. He might have rubbed out a guy or two, but it never would have occurred to Johnny Friendly (Lee J. Cobb) to traffic a child. The reason the half-brother of Jesus stopped his letter mid-thought to appeal to his brethren out of necessity was his need to warn them of the “hidden reefs”…the enemy within the church itself.

That same enemy is the very reason why the church has grown smaller and less effective…I think I used the term “puddle of irrelevance” in referring to what the enemy has made of the power we once were. I can tell you 100% without exaggeration that I relate totally and completely to Nehemiah’s despair, So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven. ~ Nehemiah 1:4

The description of Jerusalem, the “City of God” in ruin, her wall broken down and her gates burned with fire broke his heart. It was the very same broken heart in me watching our own ruination, broken wall, and burning gate that inspired, I could not yell, I could not cry, I held you in my arms…closed my eyes and felt our country dyin’ in my song The Ballad of John Hall.

When I think of men like Nehemiah, who came before Jesus, and Saul of Tarsus who became the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, after Jesus, Bonhoeffer’s expression of costly grace vs cheap grace comes to my mind.

Paul and Nehemiah, two of the greatest contenders for the faith in all the Bible, were great and courageous leaders with tremendous character who took great risks. And they both had a plan! There are two voices in the church today. One, like the Artful Dodger, hides in the Word, subservient to the plan of the Progressive master, leading his flock to the Mark. It is the voice of the cheap grace. Thankfully, the voice of costly grace is alive and well…

We are in the days that the early church longed to see. There is a remnant of believers who refuse to align with the Babylonian system. This company of passionate whole-hearted lovers of God will be small in number and will demonstrate supernatural power. Their hearts will be fearless, loving not their lives unto death, living only for an audience of one.

God has put a new song (Sword & Trowel) on my heart. Just as He intervened in the life of Terry Malloy through His good shepherd Father Barry to make him a contender to save the waterfront; God intervened through our Good Shepherd to make Paul the contender to save the world, and He is at it again with us today!

Then I said… “Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.”…So they said, “Let us rise up and build.” Then they set their hands to this good work. ~ Nehemiah 2:17-18

Standupnsing! ~ For Such A Time As This

Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. ~ Matthew 10:34-36

This passage from Matthew came to me this past P&FW morning after I had been invited to walk with warriors the night before…only to find them retired from active duty. The Matthew 10 passage above also included verse 38, And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me, which prompted me to write, Modernism turned Jesus into a hippy…wallflower…and turned the modern christian into a puddle of irrelevance. The REAL Christian roars Remnant with a bite the enemy fears most of all…perfectly illustrated at the head of today’s post. And moments later as I am listening to BardsFM from the night before, these words flowed through my ears and into my heart:

Now, just in case you’re thinking this is all random…this same Weds morning I get a reply from a POC (That means Person of Color in the make-believe land of Woke) to my INVITE to Prayer & Fast Wednesday from the night before, angrily rejecting my invitation and bearing false witness to my Jan. 6th participation in Washington as an expression of loyalty to our President, and love of our country, in his reply-all response. It should be noted that my P&FW INVITE was my reply-all reciprocation to the sender inviting me to a Zoom Prayer meeting Wednesday evening. God gave me the perfect response to the exchange that followed…

For you have brought these men here who are neither robbers of temples nor blasphemers of your goddess. Therefore, if Demetrius and his fellow craftsmen have a case against anyone, the courts are open and there are proconsuls. Let them bring charges against one another. But if you have any other inquiry to make, it shall be determined in the lawful assembly. ~ Acts 19:37-39

I love the “Brother”. See, I prefer to call him my Brother rather than POC because brother is a term of unity whereas POC is a term (by design) of division. Which makes these events that much more significant in the broader scheme. You see, my INVITE carried His John17:21 intention “That we find the path to come together as one.” And if you are still in doubt regarding the identity of the Master Author and Finisher of these events, God had seen fit to introduce me to Voddie T. Baucham Jr. at our CLOTH (Christian Leaders Of The Hudson) meeting just three days earlier.

God clearly condemns injustice. He is also clear in his condemnation of falsehood and lies. The most succinct statement of this is found in the Decalogue. The Ninth Commandment simply states, “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” (Exodus 20:16). However, this commandment carries more weight than one can imagine. Falsehood and lies are reprehensible because they not only harm those to and/or about whom they are told, but they also blaspheme the very character and nature of God Who is truth (John 14:6), whose very Word is truth (Psalm 119:43, 160; John 17:17), and whose very essence is that of “the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change” (James 1:17). ~ Voddie T. And then the Master Finisher uses the author of the recent Dietrich Bonhoeffer biography, Eric Metaxas to make His exclamation point! I cannot possibly urge you strongly enough…if you thought you knew all you needed to know about Dietrich Bonhoeffer, you most likely do not. I am meeting my mentor in the Faith who’s offered to loan me his copy, for lunch next week. The jaw-dropping takeaway from this interview with Metaxas, beginning at the 1-hour mark, is the eerie similarity between Hitler’s slow and steady seduction of the German churches into willing submission, and the very same forces driving so many of today’s churches to kneel at the Social Justice altar and read from the nefarious anti-John 17:21 scripture of CRT.

Voddie’s book Fault Lines reveals the Front Line in the war to save the heart soul of America. There may be no better explanation of the forces behind our divide using Critical Race Theory as their weapon of the mass’s destruction. God could not possibly have provided us with a more powerful wake-up call then the one He provided via the tandem read found in Fault Lines: The Social Justice Movement and Evangelicalism’s Looming Catastrophe and Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy…or so I thought, until we witnessed His artistic Holy Toledo stroke on the George Floyd Mural earlier this week…in Toledo, Ohio.

I want to be crystal clear here. What happened to George Floyd was a crime, but what his death was used for is worse than a crime. Its pure evil, and it is being used by the enemy to tear our country apart. Lincoln saw it coming…he was killed. Kennedy saw it coming…he was killed.

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Our “Spiritual Birth Certificate” ~ Soli Deo Gloria

“WE, THE PEOPLE of the State of New York, grateful to Almighty God for our freedom, in order to
secure its blessings, do establish this Constitution.”

If you are struggling to find the actual presence of Holy Spirit in the church you are attending, today’s Tune-up is just for you. I read this passage in the Founders Bible this past Prayer & Fast Wednesday morning. “This small band of outlaw believers had no name, nor did they seek one. All they wanted to do was gather in freedom, worship the Lord, and study His Word for themselves. Though they would become hunted and harried, imprisoned and persecuted for it, the Scrooby Covenant of 1606, here paraphrased by Bradford, was the seed of the Pilgrim church, and also the precursor to the Mayflower Compact. It was this conventional concept that the people of God are free to form a covenant, even if the civil laws are against it, that is critical to understand. One can only imagine the scene as Pastor John Robinson, Pastor Richard Clyfton, William Brewster, and sixteen-year-old William Bradford stood to confess, with the others, their agreement with this covenant. It was there that part of America’s spiritual birth certificate was formed!”

According to the Bible the heart is the center of physical life, the center of memory, the center of damnation and of salvation, the center of God’s working and the center from which everything works which molds the human mechanism. ~ Oswald Chambers, The Weight of the Center

Two incidents occurring in this past week speak directly to my heart, one a criticism from the Left, and the other from the Right. The one from the Left was directed at me for posting the first two paragraphs from our Declaration of Independence on Facebook…on Independence Day. The one from the Right targeted my Christian brother Gary for posting “This war is for your consciousness and soul. This is the final war. It’s purely spiritual. Turn to God.” The charge against me from my friend on the Left was “This is not a time to go down the political rabbit hole.” And from a friend on the Right to Gary, “Religious fanaticism will scare away half your team Gary, try to focus on the core agenda we all agree with.”

So, to the mind on the Left, the very foundation of our freedom as Americans is a rabbit hole fantasy. And to the mind on the Right, seeking and trusting in God has become the extreme position of religious fanaticism. The result? It is exactly the compromise with both to find “the core agenda we all agree with” that has led us all to the darkest nightmare-wonderland-rabbit-hell-hole the world has ever seen. Why? Because it is the same purely spiritual war for consciousness and soul that led our ancestors, against all odds, to “America’s spiritual birth certificate” in the first place! I am not saying that compromise is wrong always in all ways. I am saying that compromising core principles for a core agenda is surrender. Period. So, with all due respect to Left & Right, our battle cry as Americans in this hour must be Sola Scriptura (by Scripture alone), Sola Fide (through faith alone), Sola Gratia (by grace alone), Sola Christus (in Christ alone), and Soli Deo Gloria (for the glory of God alone)! That, dear brothers, and sisters, is the seed of our revival and survival. This, being the case, begs the question, “Who must lead the charge, Church or State?”

This question leads to a very interesting initiative underway in the Lower Hudson Valley of New York where a small band of Christian brothers and sisters have formed CLOTH (Christian Leaders Of The Hudson) ~ To revive & strengthen church leadership as the best if not the only path to attaining Jesus’ last John 17:21 prayer that we be one, as You, Father, are in me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

So, lets pause for a moment to think about and compare the Scrooby Covenant 415 years ago to the mission of CLOTH today. All they wanted to do was gather in freedom…Imagine…visualize the enemy they faced then, and you will see it is the very same we face today. In fact, it has the same name. Tyranny wants us DIVIDED. It remembers what happens when it allows us to gather in freedom. So, it needs to wipe all memory in us of the who, how, and why we gathered together in the first place…415 years ago. It needed to take out the place where we gather (church) before it could destroy what Tocqueville described as the real unit of American power (family). Question: How is it that the world can be forced to accept the behavior of 1.9% (Homosexual) of the world population as “normal” when normal by all previously accepted standards was attained at the 62% mark? In other words, if 60% doesn’t qualify as normal, how and on what planet does 1.9%? Answer: The planet on which the church has been divided, conquered, and made irrelevant. Which brings us to the Scott Kesterson interview with Joe Flynn…

All of this is coming together in the same week. Remember, the same enemy that wants us to forget who we are does not want us to know that every single one of our once united 50 state constitutions include God in the relationship between government and the governed. The friend on the Left who has been conditioned to see the words, When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, as a “rabbit hole”, is as much an aid to the enemy as those shepherds who kept their flocks from the political grass so as not to know enough about the political bands to fight for their strength and integrity. Oh, what a week…and God was not finished with me yet.

In this same week God elevates my song Guilty to #1 on the N1M charts…11 years after the record was released! Why now? Well, because we are HERE now: “Love is a shadow when you’re too scared to fight. If you want her to love you, turn into the light.” This is His message to my friend on the Right! If we are not called to turn into the light (God), Where then? Or, how about, “…’till you don’t want to live but you just can’t die, ‘cause you’re too afraid of loosin’”.

FEAR…is the only thing holding us back. It is the Holy Spirit that crosses the divide of time to unite the Scrooby Covenant with CLOTH! It is the Holy Spirit that conquers fear and disease, not some mystery formula cooked up in a pharma lab. It is the Holy Spirit that will bring us all together, and not in a classroom where oppressed are separated from oppressor…or in a church where the vaccinated are separated from the un-vaccinated. A church where Holy Spirit is invited to indwell is a church 100% alive and well! Our birth as a nation began with the shot heard ‘round the world. Holy Spirit will bring our revival as a nation with the prayer heard ‘round the world. Please pray for CLOTH to spark it! For the glory of God alone.

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Falling Into Grace

It’s all right there folks.  Everything we are seeing and those we mistakenly trusted are trying to gaslight you into believing isn’t happening or “isn’t related” was 100% anticipated by the FDA in October. All of the clotting and coagulation.  All of the heart damage.  All of the female reproductive issues.  All of the people dropping dead, either from heart attack or stroking out.  All of the sick children – “Multisymptom Inflammatory Syndrome in Children” is a completely new term.  And if you don’t know what Kawasaki Disease is: “Kawasaki disease is an illness that causes inflammation (swelling and redness) in blood vessels throughout the body. It happens in three phases, and a lasting fever usually is the first sign. The condition most often affects kids younger than 5 years old.” ~ THE FDA KNEW!

Most everyone is familiar with the expression, fall from grace. Bernie Madoff comes to mind in the business world. Ravi Zacharias in the religious…Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby in the entertainment world, and Bill Clinton in the world of politics (They say, “Behind every evil man…”, but I digress.) This past week I heard two new expressions for the first time from Front Line Doctor Christiane Northrup. Falling into grace, was how she described her decision to stand in the face of the very evil behind our Great Bifurcation, her other great term for the epic split down the middle and through the heart of America, rippling outward and cutting through families, neighborhoods, villages, towns, counties, states, the nation, and what seems like the entirety of western civilization as a whole…courtesy of a bioweapon engineered in a CCP lab in Wuhan, China funded by Fauci. ~ BardsFM Interview with Dr. Christiane Northrup

How do we fight evil this evil? On the one hand, Proverbs 20:22 tells us DO not say, “I will recompense evil”; Wait for the Lord, and He will save you. On the other, we have the originator of the Great Bifurcation and author of Dodging Energy Vampires who knows the truth about Nikola Tesla and the why of the worldwide adjustment of orchestral frequencies and Cern ceremonies, who decides to fall into grace with the rest of America’s Front Line Doctors, along with hundreds of others…rather than wait…THANK GOD!

Our bifurcation is along the line of Faith…our separation originated as tiny mountain streams and grew almost imperceptibly into rivers on their way to becoming oceans, and soon into planets, stars, and constellations. What follows is not only brilliant…it’s the perfect explanation of how people give themselves the head-fake on to the dark side of the divide. WARNING: Its easy to realize your error and cross over to the other side when it’s a stream, possible when it’s a river, tougher when its an ocean, and so on. You catch my drift. Most importantly, have you caught yours?

It is a near-universal opinion today that “moderation” in rhetoric, in action and even in belief is the one and only acceptable path forward.  If the enemies of Christ say that 2+2=8, then we MUST be prepared to tolerate and even re-order ourselves and our engagement with the world to the position that 2+2=6, because that is MODERATE – splitting the difference between the Truth and the lie.  And what happens when the enemies of Christ declare that 2+2=1,000,000?  Well, then WE must be prepared to MODERATE our rhetoric, actions and beliefs relative to THAT lie, and take up the thoroughly “moderate” position that 2+2=500,000. Staunchly, and even INTRANSIGENTLY insisting that 2+2=4 will only cause people to hate you, think that you are a loon, and eventually get you killed. The False Virtue of Moderation

Speaking of loons, I had one friend from the left side of the river write this is not a time to go down the political “rabbit hole” in response to my posting the first two paragraphs of our Declaration of Independence yesterday…the day before our celebration of Independence Day. And on the very same day, a life-long friend from the right side of the river confess to me somewhat remorsefully that he had taken the Pfizer injection. I love both brothers. I pray for both brothers. The one on the right side has a shot because he knows in his heart he has to turn back to God. The other one I fear will only come to realize when he finds himself on another planet.

Falling into grace is the hard thing to do. It is the narrow gate choice, and it will only get harder. But the irony is that once we do, it becomes easier and easier because it requires less and less of our energy. Why? Because He supplies more and more of His…which is EXACTLY how a handful of farmers defeated the greatest military power on earth a couple of hundred years ago. They knew then what the silver moon knows now. Happy Independence Day!

Now when the attendant of the man of God had risen early and gone out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was circling the city. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Stop the Singing

A friend I worked with for the past twenty-six years until I retired this past December called me out of the blue this past Thursday. It may have been one of the most disturbing conversations I have ever had with anyone…ever. It was more than his attempt at painting his daughter Sam as the black sheep of the family for refusing the “jab”, it was his own self-imposed state of the clear and present danger by choosing the slavery of the wide gate matrix over the narrow gate of truth and freedom. Think about how dangerous the world you’re living in is when the greatest dissing and discouragement of your attempts to warn and protect your brothers and sisters, and their children from those seeking to destroy their souls, is coming from the church pulpits. Those of us who have tried in vain to sound the alarm were always stopped and derailed with the feeble excuse “that’s political”. If bus drivers don’t show up for work, people find another way to get where they want to go. When bakers don’t show, life is a little less sweet. And when cops don’t show, which we are starting to get a taste of, life becomes a little less safe. But when the leaders of the church abandon their posts, societies literally collapse into a living hell on earth…

…hearkening back to the German churches close enough to the train tracks to hear the sounds of the screaming Jews coming from the cattle cars as they passed by on the way to their own ends. When good people fail to show up, all that’s left is to sing louder.

How much good must die before “a change”?
