The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ When you stand for nothing…

A “Fruit” of Cultural Marxism

…you’ll take a knee for nothing. Actually, the original quote is, “When you stand for nothing, you’ll fall for everything.” I modified it to fit the occasion. Roger Goodell and the NFL owners are in the midst of learning a very expensive 2-part lesson. The Americans who fight the wars, keep the law and order, pay the bills, and pay the taxes (which means we subsidize them) are waking up. And WE, the America that matters, are not for sale. The players and former players-turned media whores like Phil Simms, Terry Bradshaw, and this FS1 gem, Shannon “not-so-sharp” Sharpe who endeared himself to the America that matters with this lilting sentiment, “the flag is just a piece of cloth, and nobody fights for a piece of cloth.” …well, I’m honestly not sure they’re smart enough to learn anything that doesn’t earn them a paycheck.

“Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” ~ Lord Acton

You see, if they were smart…if they had a fraction of a scintilla of smart, they would know that the famous six words of Lord Acton are the most important six words in their pathetic lives. Because in knowing these six words, they would know the people who own them.

The next two most important words are among the eight most important words in the world because they explain how once normal, healthy, wholesome people could fall for the first six, become slaves and lose their souls: Cultural Marxism

Cultural Marxism is cultural rot. It destroys the strength and integrity of a society the way mold and unchecked moisture eventually destroys the strength and integrity of a wooden structure. Lenin had three steps to absolute power; the press, the schools, and healthcare. Obama’s and Clinton’s mentor Saul Alinsky expanded the steps to “Eight Levels of Control”. Suffice to say Obama and Clinton were very good students.

It’s amazing what a mind owned is willing and able to ignore. And it’s even more amazing…and heartbreaking, to be perfectly honest, what a mind owned is willing and able to do to other people. Even to people they once loved. Take Alejandro Villanueva for example. I did not know who he was before the NFL took the collective knee. Well, he was the Army Ranger Pittsburgh Steeler who defied the team order and was the ONLY man on his team who stood for our National Anthem. Now, it has been reported, he has regrets for his stand. And I am here to tell you, having lived in a Liberal family, I completely understand how and why. The owned mind cannot tolerate the free mind. Period. The football family is similar to any other family in many ways. They work, play, and room together just like most other families. When I stood, I was the one with the character flaws, too serious all the time, no fun anymore. “Everybody sees it”, I was constantly told. You may have heard it described as projecting or gas-lighting, named after the famous Hitchcock thriller. When you are the one standing, whether it is in your own home, or a locker room, you begin to feel…you actually become the lowly values being projected onto you…just as with Ingrid Bergman’s character in the film. It can be a living hell. And it ALL stems from Cultural Marxism. If you read Barnhardt, she clinically diagnoses it as Diabolical Narcissism.

The ninth, final, and ultimately most important word is truth because truth is the devil’s ultimate prize. Take that from the people and its game over. This is the good news/bad news part of the story. The good news is that the America that matters is standing, and Goodell and the owners are feeling the pain of their miscalculation where it matters most to them…in their pocketbooks. The bad news is the devil isn’t looking to retire anytime soon…and he still owns who and what he owns, and I am here to tell you it is one very big and hairy monster. Standing in the light of truth on the firm ground of faith is the only way to kill the beast.

This is the number to Anheuser-Busch. They want to know how you feel about NFL players kneeling during the anthem and if they should continue supporting the NFL through advertisement dollars with a quick push button survey. Let them know what you think. It’s an automated system and asks if you are calling about the NFL. Press 1 and then leave your message. (Thanks Armine!)

Oh yeah re: the bad news, I nearly forgot. The man in the picture above is actually an ordained Catholic Priest by the name of James Martin, S.J., a living breathing example of the cultural rot that has even reached the walls and halls of the Vatican. In case you thought this will be easy.

“Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is right? But even if you do suffer for righteousness’ sake you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled, but in your hearts reverence Christ as Lord.” ~ 1 Peter 3:13-15

The Global “Projecting” Pattern: Freedom-loving peaceful protesters are marginalized as “fascists”, and then beaten by the real Fascists.

I was so disappointed with Villanueva for backing down. Saddened really, that another person could not “stand up for something.” It almost did seem like someone got to him. I have thought a lot about the theory of “diabolical narcissism.” As I have, I have come to see that it helps explains and make sense of a lot of what I see around me.

I’m sure the pressure was enormous…I hope he rec’d a lot of positive fan mail.

Let me preface my response with the fact I am totally disgusted by the lack of respect being shown to our flag and the ignorance of those partaking in those acts of disrespect. I am also sick and tired to the point of refusing to attend concerts, shows, sporting events, etc if I think those involved will use those platforms to express their political & social ideologies…just SHUT UP AND SING!!!
With that said, It is my understanding, the coach let the team take a vote as to whether they should collectively stay in the locker room during the playing of the National Anthem and in turn keep “out of the fray” or if they should be present on the field where there would be no control over whatever any team member wanted to do. The team all agreed they would abide by whatever to vote turned out to be. The team voted by a slim margin to stay in the locker room and Villanueva did not abide by the teams decision to abide by the vote.

Interesting Kim. Giving them a vote on whether or not to disrespect the flag and all it represents is a mistake that will cost way more than they yet realize.
