The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ SW #8 The Seven Mountains

Mountain # 7 ~ Government

Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will assuredly dispossess from before you the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, and the Jebusite.” ~ Joshua 3:10

SW #7 Re-cap

The Question of Rank:

  • We are living in the beast system.
  • The beast system sets rank and standards by which to achieve.
  • We’ve been conditioned by government, chambers, county “leadership” programs, and public education to submit to it.
  • 4-part “ten plagues” deep dive/Exodus 2.0 ~ Brad Cummings…we are here!
  • There is only one rank that matters.

If prosperity is the blessing of the Old Testament, adversity is the blessing of the New.              ~ Francis Bacon

There is a reason for the kinds of sayings we and the generations before us grew up nourished by have all but disappeared from our cultural lexicon. Sayings like “sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never harm me”, and “no pain, no gain”.

We’ve covered the Seven Mountains in the SMTU at a tree-top level, but they deserve a much closer look in this part 8 of our Spiritual Warfare series. They are Media, Family, Arts & Entertainment, Economy, Religion, Education, and Government. If you recall, we discussed in SW #1 there has never been a war won without boots on the ground. The photo at the top of the page is our prayer team on mountain #7 (Orange County Government Center) with our boots very much on the ground. I love this picture!

Modern prophet Johnny Enlow, together with his wife Elizabeth, authored a training manual for understanding and reclaiming the Seven Mountains from the enemy who controls all seven entitled RISE, published in 2018. Satan…working through the demonic strategy of the Girgashites who presently control the mountain of government through corruption, as they did in Joshua 3:10…that is, before Joshua’s boots on the ground cleared them out.

Our teams have spent a great deal of time lately on the government mountain, as well as mountain #6, the education mountain (pictured in SW #6). Interestingly, I have been a part of a men’s Bible study of a dozen men who were given the opportunity to study RISE just this past week, not a single one of them in the pic above, SW #6, or any of our call-to-actions for that matter…which brings to my mind the Francis Bacon quote above. I know from my own experience and observations that a nastier flavor of adversity tends to find those who seek to avoid it. On the other hand, we know, if we believe God’s Word, how Joshua and Caleb were highly favored by the Lord.

As I wrote a friend the morning after our Friday eve prayer vigil outside the county government center, “It’s not the numbers as much as it is the WHO that are missing…the church people of all people…are missing from a prayer vigil??? He gave me the following vision that sums it up perfectly:

The typical Bronx Firehouse…with the living quarters upstairs…the shiny red fire engines downstairs…and the stainless-steel pole through the hole in the floor they all slide down when the fire alarm sounds. Oh, the fire alarm just went off. Spot, the company mascot Dalmatian, is downstairs at the bottom of the pole with his tail wagging in anticipation…while the firemen continue their card game of “indifference” upstairs…leaving the people to put out their own fires.

A dividing line is being drawn in the body of Christ. We are on the side of right. Our Founders had a covenant with God. We must determine whether we are going to be spectators in the struggle, or participants in the solution. It does not take much nerve or determination to merely be a spectator. But to speak for the truth takes real resolve. A spirit being full of the life of God has to speak out and advocate for the life and freedom within them. For they have found the answer and they long for others to find it also. The life and freedom within them spoken becomes so bright and shines so much light that individuals become like a city on the hill that cannot be hid. ~ Robin Bullock 11/2/22

There’s nothing worse than false beliefs, because when we have false beliefs we’re in Babylon, and we’re commanded (in the Bible) to come out of Babylon. ~ David Straight

Gideon’s son’s (Jotham) parable: Once the trees went forth to anoint a king over them, and they said to the olive tree, “Reign over us!” But the olive tree said to them, “Shall I leave my fatness with which God and men are honored, and go to wave over the trees?” Then the trees said to the fig tree, “You come reign over us!” But the fig tree said to them, “Shall I leave my sweetness and my good fruit, and go to wave over the trees?” Then the trees said to the vine, “You come reign over us!” But the vine said to them, “Shall I leave my new wine, which cheers God and men, and go to wave over the trees?” Finally all the trees said to the bramble, “You come, reign over us!” The bramble said to the trees, “If in truth you are anointing me as king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, may fire come out from the bramble and consume the cedars of Lebanon” (Judges 9:8-15)

“We are here to find, know, and serve God.”Luke, Voice of Reasons

I believe the deadliest head-fake in the world at such a time as this, is the one we give ourselves, whether continuing our card games of indifference in the firehouses as our cities burn, or huddled together reading Bible stories to ourselves while our children are being physically, emotionally, and spiritually destroyed.

He who follows righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness, and honor. A wise man (RISES) scales the city of the mighty, and brings down the trusted stronghold. ~ Proverbs 21:21, 22
