Eyes in the Forest

Eyes in the Forest

In Thomas Sowell’s “Post-Thinking” or “Post-Common Sense” era, as I like to call it; there have been two speeches that have made a profound impression on me. The first is Dr. Ben Carson’s now famous White House Prayer Breakfast speech. The second is a less known speech by “Harbinger” author Rabbi Jonathan Cahn, also given at a White House Inauguration Prayer Breakfast.

If you haven’t read The Harbinger I encourage you to do so. For me Carson’s life is a wonderful example of living God-centrically. Cahn’s book could be described as the best natural evidence on earth regarding the breathtaking consequences of our having chosen NOT to live so…

His work examines the nine harbingers, or warnings, recorded in the Bible that were delivered to Israel before the nation disintegrated. He contends God is giving the same nine warnings now to America to urge the nation to repent. One of the harbingers was a sycamore tree at Ground Zero, which after the destruction of the Twin Towers was replaced by an evergreen; a move Cahn believes follows the Isaiah prophecy.

Now the replacement tree is gone, he said.

“The ancient sign of nearing national judgment has been manifested. The erez tree has fallen. The seventh harbinger now speaks of impending judgment. The Tree of Hope, the symbol of America’s resurgence … is dead,” he explained.

It’s Now or Never!

Good Sunday Morning Dear Friend! For those of us not living in the Post-Thinking world, the death of the “erez tree” was to be expected. Not because we are blessed with clairvoyant insight, but because we know the fundamental lie that taints the soil of our Fundamental Transformation as pure arrogance! Period! Our resurgence was rooted in arrogance, denial and false hope. Moreover; anyone with a thinking cap on realizes our “Tree of Hope” was planted by men who would make themselves Kings!

I personally believe that living God-centrically, as a matter of the heart, is the most deeply personal path there is. It is for no one to determine, decide, judge or dictate to another, what must be experienced, felt and tasted for themselves…that which is the sacred providence of their innermost selves. The real “Tree of Hope” has as many roots as it has branches…

I would however implore each and every one of my readers to do a real honest-to-goodness gut check here. We are all of us trackers on a trail who must be aware of the signs in the forest. Knowing and following them will always be the difference between finding our way, and becoming hopelessly lost. Many of you have already secured your guide, but for those of you still searching I am pleased to share the one that has proven to be a wonderful beacon to me…

May God Bless and Keep us ALL in the eternal light of his Love and Grace!
