The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ Man in the Middle of a Broken World

BUT the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble. ~ Proverbs 4:18, 19

The outline/diagram of today’s SMTU came to me at 30,000 ft on my way home from Daytona Beach and a visit with Mom, after observing the week’s news feed. Stunning is no longer suffice. From the highest court in the land to our sports, faith and media, it comes down to politics and the man in the middle of it all.

Justice ~ Embarrassing would be the word if sad didn’t exist. Mockery…circus…these are words that circle the death of honor, like vultures waiting for the last gasp. An impeccably qualified man up-staged by 70 paid mercenaries of mayhem, and a handful of Democrats auditioning for 2020…including “I am Spartacus” Booker who earned a permanent dunce-drama-queen crown for impaling himself with an email meant to tarnish Kavanaugh. The Good News? America got an up-close-and-personal view of Social Justice vs the Real Thing. Thankyou President Trump!

Sports ~ I feel so extremely fortunate to have grown up when sports were simple honest athletic competition. Men competing with men, women competing with women in their chosen arena, creating dreams for the boys and girls who wanted to achieve the same. Ali/Frazier, Connors/Borg, Cowboys/Steelers…Thank God baseball is still baseball. The National Football League needs to change its name to the Globalist Football League (GFL). They have managed to become an Institutional Insult to everything America STANDS for. The irreversible damage inflicted by Nike in associating Kaepernick with Sacrifice on the very same field Pat Tillman honored, is nothing short of stolen valor at its worst. Thank God, we have a President who stands with us on what has become a globalist-engineered national disgrace and insult to our flag, and the men and women who have fought and died to defend it!

Faith ~ This week the NY and NJ Attorneys General followed the PA AG’s lead, opening sex crime investigations into the eight Catholic Dioceses in New York, and all seven in New Jersey. The Shepherd has become the Wolf, and this didn’t happen overnight. “In the letter, a woman reported she was one of eight children. Four of the siblings were raised before the Council (Vatican ll 1959) and four raised after. The first four were mature and well-adjusted in adulthood; the latter four were painfully immature beyond adolescence. The explanation? The father of the family not only lost confidence in his Church after the Council, he lost confidence in his ability to be a good father.” ~  Restoring Confidence in the Catholic Faith Cardinal Dolan and Pope Francis remain silent. The yellow tape surrounding pedophilia and sex-trafficking that stretches from Hollywood to Washington, Haiti, and the Vatican has finally brought our 2nd most evil national and world-wide sin to light. The only thing worse than killing a child in its mother’s womb, is stealing its innocence after its birth. President Trump has already taken more pedophiles off our streets than his past four predecessors combined.

Media ~ In this same week, the New York Times ran an anonymous op-ed attack on President Trump as both Twitter and Apple banned Trump’s greatest supporter Alex Jones…for life. Of all four news-breakers this week, this one may be the worst because of its responsibility to the other three and the welfare of our society as a whole. If Media, and in particular our 4th Estate, were healthy and functioning properly, then we as a society would be healthy and functioning properly (OK…healthier). But this has not been the case for a number of years. The journalistic integrity of men like Murrow, Huntley & Brinkley, and Cronkite is long gone. Their shoes have been filled by subversionists and ideologues of every flavor and persuasion…except American. Here again, no one man has done more to reveal “Fake News” to the American People and the rest of the world than President Donald J. Trump. And people know the truth when they see and hear it.

So, in all matters of church and state…and in every institution of American Life, it all comes down to the need for men to be men again. The post-Council lament of the father who “lost confidence in his ability to be a father” lost his responsibility to be a man. In the Church, man is shepherd. In the State he is the sheepdog. In both there are more wolves than we can possibly imagine.

I am back on Facebook at the behest of a friend in Christ. We ALL need to engage my friends. We need to stand with courage, and engage with heart. To my friends in the church who are slow to recognize the wolf in front of us, but quick to find fault with our President I would say this. If I need the roof of my church fixed to keep the rain from the heads of those inside, don’t I look for the best and most affordable roofer I can find? We did not hire President Trump to fix our souls. We hired President Trump to repair the house so that we have a place to worship…and by the grace of God, remember why we are here to begin with.

To turn head faith into a personal possession is a fight always, not sometimes. God brings us into circumstances in order to educate our faith, because the nature of faith is to make its object real. ~ Oswald Chambers, Great Is Your Faith

  1. D. says:

A very big strategy of the left is to insist that a Christian must be perfect or that they need to shut up and stay out of the public discourse. We should not be misled by this because it does not stand the test of biblical truths. The Bible is a book of people who are just like you and I, sinners! Take Samson for example. Samson fell but understood what he had done and turned back to God. He was ultimately used of God in a mighty way. Then, what of Mary Magdalene? There were those around her who would stone her for her mistakes. Jesus did three things in response to this. One, he asked those accusing her to reflect on their own sins. Two, he told Mary he was not condemning her. Three, he gave her the choice to move forward and sin no more. Mr. Anonymous, you would be wise to read the stories that I refer to and take a personal accessment of your life before it is too late. God bless you Mr. Anonympus and Chip!
