We are on His mission (Operation Exodus) to bring “Classical Education” to our area, and save our children, as well as our own posterity from extinction. It has been said that to destroy a society all one need do is remove the alpha male. Our committee chair and I had a call with a mother who wanted to share her ideas and the wisdom she gained from the experience of homeschooling her 7 children. The most compelling thing she shared had to do with what our society, through media, entertainment, and public education has done to our boys. “So many of them are suffering guilt for being boys”, she said. “They are being deprived of the very things they need in order to develop into healthy men. They need to fall out of trees, scrape their knees, and get into the rough & tumble playground mix.”

We are being hunted by a predator as old as time itself. Our longsuffering God in His mercy has been gracious in providing us with the window and the watchmen to warn us so that we would be able to take the necessary action to prepare ourselves and protect those we love. Many of you have. Most of us have not. Most have unwisely doubled down on their well-worn and comfortable business as usual path. Therefore, on the scriptural basis of Luke 17:2, He, in His mercy, has laid out the Blackguard Case For The Millstone, so that YOU might finally see the path you are on and adjust course…while you are able. God knows every last one of us, believers and unbelievers alike, better than we know our own selves. The God who knew Judas before he was born, when He told Peter and Andrew He would make them fishers of men, knew from that day to this who would be caught and who would not. The same God who loves every last one of us enough to sacrifice His only Son for us, cannot make it any easier for us to make it through the narrow gate than He made it for His own Son. He does guide us through three stages: relationship, fellowship, and discipleship.

We are all born into this world in the first stage of relationship. We are in a mostly non- discriminating relationship with almost anything and everyone in the world around us. Our relationships develop as we do, mostly as the result of our environment and cultural influences…which tragically include something called a public education system. The Communists in our country knew in the 40’s and 50’s that all they had to do was seize control of educating two generations, in the very place where the strongest passions and belief systems are formed and the incubation of fellowship begins. Fortunately for them, a man by the name of John Dewey came along decades earlier to pave the way for them by replacing classical education with a public system tailored to the 2rd industrial revolution geared to produce a nation of compliant worker bees. VOILA! To see the world as man sees it. To understand the world as man made it to be. And to know the history man revised it to be.

In the world of “Classical Education” there is the Trivium to nurture our development through grammar (K-6), logic (7-8), and rhetoric (9-12), to see the world as God sees it. To understand the world as God made it. And to know the history of God working through man over time.

I should pause at this moment to offer two examples of how God has designed this all to be. 1) The natural order in the no pain-no gain image of salmon fighting currents to swim upstream to their spawning grounds. 2) The chosen element…very similar to what most of us may recall from the 1977 movie Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind.

Here’s where it gets very interesting…and I need to set the stage by bringing up the elephant in the room as a very significant player in the very thing they do not want us talking about, 1,291 Side Effects of the Pfizer “Vaccine”, and the 4th Industrial Revolution…what Klaus Schwab & Co refer to as The Great Reset.

God chose for me not to be molded into fellowship through the public education system I managed to endure through my Ramapo Regional High School graduation in 1972. In fact, He lifted me out of relationship with the world and into relationship with Him on a Wyoming mountaintop in September of 2015 via Pastor Kirby and His Word James 4:8, and He has been grooming me for Acts 20:22-24 discipleship ever since. Consistent, contrite, courageous, convictional, committed, and captivated. These are the traits of discipleship as per my John Maxwell leadership devotional read “You Gotta Have Heart” yesterday. Juxtapose these qualities with the three people in the cartoon above, the compliant herd we all went to school with, and a local mayoral candidate…

I asked a very likeable man who has decided to throw his hat in the ring for the local village mayor, “How many genders am I holding up?” To which he responded, “As many as makes you happy.”

As founder of the Augustine Classical Academy, Matt Hopkins, puts it so well. All education is about discipleship. The question is who and/or what are we discipling for? The mayoral candidate may have the most noble intentions, but his willingness to sacrifice truth to obtain office is a wide gate compliant worker bee choice. I don’t know what to say anymore. Nadezhda, pronounced Nadia, and I are the first ones up every morning in this house. She starts the fire and I make the coffee. “Any news?”, she asks me this morning. “No”, I reply, “I was going to ask you.” Nadezhda, who’s Russian, has family in Ukraine. “Are they OK?”, I asked. “Yes”, she answered, “Everybody’s alright.” “That’s the main thing”, I said…thinking to myself how I wish I could say the same about people here in Amerika. We are so far from alright we may as well be in Oz. Watching those who have accepted a vegetable as their leader point the feckless finger of blame at the one man in the world protecting his people from evil too dark to describe…it suddenly dawns on me. We have become a nation of vegetables led by a vegetable. Smiling ghost smiles from inside our “I got the shot” Facebook halos for all the world to see…while the Russian people and their Russian children are living normal lives led by a strong man of courage who finally decided to put an end to the evil at his door…10-15 bio labs…paid for by you and me!

Well dear Facebook friends, let the vegetables sleep (I wonder what they dream about?) It’s time to wake up the lions!

The wicked who sacrifice children, harvest babies for their organs, cave in women’s skulls with the shoulder stocks of machine guns and crush the spines of old women in wheelchairs with their police horses, do so because the church in hiding has no moral influence. Worse than that, they’ve created counter-influence. Who would follow those who are afraid to show themselves?  My last Tune-up, The Impossible Dream (question mark) triggered a back and forth yesterday with brothers of the sleeping church…where they have been conditioned to become the passive audience of their own demise.

The book that immediately followed the four Gospel writers was not the Book of Passive, or the Book of Wait. It was the Book of Acts…of the 1st Century Disciples! “Acts is what Jesus continues to do in and through the lives of His people.”

It has happened in the past in regard to national Israel, and yet this passage (Psalm 2:1-4) also speaks prophetically about a time yet future when this will be true of Jesus Christ. Its hard to imagine that at some point all the nations of the world will knowingly be aligned together against God; the heathen will rage! (NOTE: Not a single Western leader has condemned Trudeau’s tyrannical actions) ~ We Won’t Be Silent, The Founders’ Bible

And just this morning, one of the audience members sent me an article on parent’s rights in education. That’s great…but what are we doing about it? How will we Act, as God’s people, in response to what public education is doing to harm children and divide families? I love my brothers in the sleeping church, I feel their pain, and I appreciate their taking the time to engage with me in dialogue. I invited them to join those of us in the fight on the front lines…where they will feel the breeze of the slings and arrows. Sharing articles on education with the choir is easy. But when you stand up and ask the BOE’s why they are not fighting for our children…when you Act to take the hill, led by the Holy Spirit, to plant the flag of a “Classical” education where our children will learn math to see the world as God sees it, learn science to understand the world as God made it, and learn history to appreciate the Acts of what God has done in and through the lives of His people over time. Yes, you will feel the breeze. Yes, you will be scorned and hated. But, as Kipling knew so well, (IF) and when you do these things, “you’ll be a man my son!”

Please join us for Prayer & Fast Wednesday tomorrow with prayerful focus on Revelation 21:8 that we might see our present course, and Ephesians 5:14, that we, by God’s grace, may awaken from our slumber, shake of the chains of our chronological snobbery, and return to the ancient paths…while we are able.

Greetings, my dear brethren, in our Savior’s precious and mighty Name, as we prepare our hearts for worship on tomorrow, Sunday, February 27th!  Our Elder Walter Johnson will deliver the Word for our 10:30 AM service, and we ask God’s blessing upon both the messenger and the message, and for His gathered people!

To make it undoubtedly clear, we live in days of unprecedented battle against the forces of spiritual darkness, and as never before in America!  The challenge before us is to be true to the uncompromised Gospel of Christ and to the entirety of God’s Word, regardless of any conflicting opinion or the personal cost involved!  While we are to walk in love and unity with all faithful followers of Christ, we are to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them” (Ephesians 5:11)!  This means we are to “expose” them for what they truly are, especially in our day of spiritual and moral compromise.  The Lord’s faithful prophets of old and His chosen New Testament apostles did not hesitate to do this, regardless of the consequences!  Their loyalty was first to a holy and to a righteous God, not to a religious establishment or nation that had departed from their God and fallen into grave sin!  We likewise are called to expose the darkness in both the church and in our nation; the wickedness of religious apostasy, political corruption, of moral perversity, and of an ungodly educational system, indoctrinating our children with atheistic philosophy, gender chaos, and hatred for established biblical and national values!  Our nation is now being filled with violence, with uncontrolled drug traffic, unstopped criminal immigration, and most of it coming out of Communist China with the unabated permission of incompetent, shameful, and actually pro-Marxist political administration!  America is being intentionally destroyed right before our eyes, and an ignorant generation has been deliberately brainwashed for it to happen!   What did the prophets say when Israel fell apart?  They cried out against the evil, declared God’s words, and called the people to repentance – whether they lived or died!  By God’s grace, and dressed in “the whole amour of God” (Ephesians 6:10ff), we are to STAND for the Lord in this hour – in love, in faith, in unity, in prayer by His Spirit, and without any ambivalence whatsoever!  Let us shine for Jesus for the world to see!  God bless you!

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ The Impossible Dream?

How do they destroy the ones who survive the womb? They steal their childhood and kill their dreams…

We are each of us being made the exact same offer Satan tempted Jesus with in Matthew 4:1-11 “You will get the kingship of men and the saviorhood of the world if you will take a ‘shortcut’—put man’s needs first, and he will crown You king; do something extraordinarily wonderful, indicative of Your power, and man will crown You king; compromise with evil, and You will get the kingship of men.” Jesus could have brought the whole thing about suddenly; but He did not. Satan spoke the same offer to me through the nurse, “My point… just get the vaccine…don’t be afraid. and we can go on to live a happy and relatively carefree existence on God’s green earth. I just feel the need to get the word out that getting the vaccine is not the end of your life, but actually the beginning of a happier one. Just take the shot….it could save your life.”

These past two years have been both curse and blessing. A curse in the division and suffering that has affected every home in America. A blessing in revealing who we are and what we truly believe to one another. Yesterday was a mixed bag for me. I saw in my own family who we have become as a country, a nation of consumers where once was a land of dreamers, adventurers, and explorers. Self-indulgence has placed me-me-me scales over their hearts and minds. Their own needs and wants have created an impenetrable cloud of indifference between them and the bold and courageous stand of our neighbors to the North…and those of us fighting here at home.

My praise team sister prayed a prayer of protection over me at the end of our rehearsal Friday night because she saw me as a brother standing on the front line. It was a welcomed blessing, but I said to them, “We are all on the front line now.”

Imagine the torment in the young 8th grader’s heart and mind that produced the rivers of tears in the self-portrait above. The enemy has infiltrated EVERY level of our government; local, state, and federal…as well as our churches, it grieves me to say. It wants us locked down, isolated from one another, and living in fear. What is happening in Canada right now has it completely terrified. And, as Professor Clements points out, those of us living here in New York are in the monster’s sites. The real question is will we continue to live as men in retreat…the army of Israel pulling back, OR will we find our spirit of David, turn into the fight, and finally slay this beast?

The Man of La Mancha came to me in a dream this past week, as we in the CLOTH are embarked on a “Classical” quest to save the Dulcineas of our day. Don’t you know that one of my brothers in this quest named his own daughter Dulcinea as a result of seeing the play many years ago. As God put on my heart to write, the only impossible dreams are those we dare not dream. For the sake of our children…for the glory of the king…for the glory of Him!

The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ “No Plan To Counterattack?”

For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. It’s easy to look away from a world too painful to see…which is why so many of our own friends and family members who have mastered the art of doing so, have absolutely no idea of how total strangers from Ottawa are fighting, on their behalf, to save it. The absolute polar opposite of these heroes would be the just a little pin prick voice from your past … “and we can go on to live a happy and relatively carefree existence on God’s green earth.” Is it safe? “I am about educating people as best I can about the positive effects of being protected by the vaccine.  I just feel the need to get the word out that getting the vaccine is not the end of your life, but actually the beginning of a happier one.” Seriously…how many of our friends and family members have taken that comfortably numb pin-prick-path, choosing to believe it would give them safety, normal, and happiness…rather than turn and see the world that is…right in front of their eyes.

You see, they had to make us want to look away so we would not see what they are stealing from us…which brings us back to Horace Mann and John Dewey and the shift from classical education, “If we are children of God, we have a tremendous treasure in nature. In every wind that blows, in every night and day of the year, in every sign of the sky, in every blossoming and in every withering of the earth…” to public education, “The people of God in Isaiah’s day had starved their imagination by looking on the face of idols” rather than up to face the heavens. So, as Matt Hopkins puts it, they would learn to “see the world rightly”. In so doing, they turned a once spectacularly thriving hive of brave explorers and adventurers into one global hive of compliant worker bees…completely unaware of their own enslavement.

Ah, the tangled web one sees, seeing safety more precious than liberty.

There’s a great scene in the movie Darkest Hour when Churchill, played brilliantly by Gary Oldman, confronts the Prime Minister of France who’s just revealed the French response to the invading tyrant. “No plan to counterattack?”, stammers an incredulous Churchill. I am more than blessed to be part of a growing community of brothers and sisters who clearly see the wolves in sheep’s clothing who have tragically thrived in our midst for years as journalists, educators, and those most responsible for guarding the flock…our bishops, pastors, rabbis, and priests. This week Geraldo Rivera referred to the most courageous men and women on the entire planet in this OUR Darkest Hour, as “selfish, self-involved thugs”! This deep state globalist shill has the shameless temerity to attack men and women who have not known the comfort of their own homes for weeks, standing in the Canadian winter cold for all of us, literally freezing for OUR freedom…

Of course, I’m speaking of the Canadian truckers who have managed to send their dictator into hiding…who have stopped the Klaus Schwab blitzkrieg at our northern border…for the moment. Just long enough for Americans to ask themselves, “Do we have a plan to counterattack?” You remember the early scene in Braveheart, when Murron’s father gave William Wallace, who just wanted to be left alone, the terms for dating his daughter?

The most terrifying force of death comes from the hands of men who just wanted to be left alone. They try so very hard to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the force of permanent change of life that will come from it. They know that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them are over. The moment that the men who wanted to be alone are forced to fight back, it’s a form of suicide. They’re literally killing off who they used to be…which is why, when forced to take up violence, these men who wanted to be left alone fight with an unholy vengeance against those who murdered their former lives. They fight with raw hate, and a drive that cannot be fathomed by those who were merely playacting in politics and terror. True terror will arrive at these people’s door, and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy. But it will fall on deaf ears of men who just wanted to be left alone. ~ A Canadian

I see SO many of my friends…including the nurse…filling the shoes of the French Prime Minister, in their blind indifference to the hour we are in. They cannot feel the drops of what will be the Double Rain salvation for those who do. I realize now…it was their education. We are traveling this week to visit a “Classical” K-12 academy up-state. I was looking over the materials of another classical education academy last night when my eyes fell on the line, “our kids love to learn”, and I instantly saw what Classical education really is about…they learn to love. They learn math to see the world as God sees it. They learn science to see the world as God made it. They learn history to understand how God works through man over time. BUT, most importantly, they learn to love as God loves us.

We Can Do Better…We MUST Do Better!

In 1962 I was a 4th grade student at Cherrybrook Elementary School in Canton, Connecticut. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was the most powerful man in the world. And God was God…the creator of it all. Teachers taught us how to think. Preachers saved our souls. Doctors and nurses saved our lives. I was beginning to “see the world rightly” because God was foundational in every aspect of my living, learning, and growing. That changed in 1962 when the Department of Education evicted Biblical Natural Law from our public education system. JFK was dead one year later…and, as many would say, Camelot along with him. It’s been a slow and steady march towards the gates of hell ever since. Prior to our Declaration of Independence, the literacy rate in Massachusetts was 98%, and as Ted Kennedy admitted, according to Matt Hopkins, founder of the Augustine Classical Academy in Mechanicville, NY, has never been surpassed and has only declined. Today it sits at 90.10%…which is scholarly compared to New York at 77.9%! Thank you, Horace Mann…and John Dewey!

Wasn’t it Forrest Gump who said, “Stupid is as stupid does.”? I don’t recall seeing a Bible in the movie Forrest Gump, but I know the enemy is very good at making the ungodly appear godly without giving God the credit. In fact…if memory serves me well…didn’t the enemy have a preacher jump in bed with Forrest’s mama, Sally “Flying Nun” Fields? Thank you, Horace Mann…and John Dewey!

So, I opened with the presidents, God, teachers, preachers, doctors, and nurses I knew as a child. Only one of the six has remained true to His mission, purpose, and character. I initiated a dialogue with an individual I have known since I was in the 9th grade. This person has worked as a nurse his/her entire career, and I reached out this past week to get his/her perspective on what has turned our world upside down and divided us even more that we were before the onset’ This was the response I received:

I have to tell you that I am not in favor of government having control over our basic human rights.  I am, however sided with the vaccine mandates of individual corporations. They can set their own standards of practice, and the employee can make their own decision about remaining with or leaving that particular job. I do not quite understand what the problem is with receiving the vaccine, though. People still have the right to not get immunized but is it the concept of “you can’t tell me what to do”, or “I don’t want that in my body” that I don’t get.  If it is the latter, that doesn’t make medical sense to me.  The vaccine is very safe and effective*, decreasing the incidence of severe illness and/or death from COVID-19.  The patients in the hospital died a horrific death, Paul.  Many that didn’t die had sequelae that destroyed their lives for the long term.  I would imagine your friend Donna has many stories from her hospital about this devastating virus and its effects.    Those that are against it and have not received the vaccine have infringed on my rights as a citizen of the USA….my protection of my health and well-being, as well as my ability to come and go without a mask. My point…  just get the vaccine…don’t be afraid (as I think people are falsely scared of its effects) … and we can go on to live a happy and relatively carefree existence on God’s green earth.  Please don’t take this as a personal affront.  It’s not meant to be. I am about educating people as best I can about the positive effects of being protected by the vaccine.  I just feel the need to get the word out that getting the vaccine is not the end of your life, but actually the beginning of a happier one. (* emphasis mine)

My response included attorney Tom Renz’s testimony before Senator Johnson’s Covid Investigation Committee which included evidence presented by three Department of Defense whistleblowers, all doctors (under threat of perjury), showing 300% increase in miscarriages, 300% increase in cancer, and 1,000% increase in neurological issues in their vaccinated population…that, on one side we have people from Fauci, Gates, the Pharma companies and healthcare professionals who had $$$Millions of reasons to lie. On the other side we have people like the Front-Line Doctors, Atty Tom Renz, Dr, Ryan Cole, and hundreds of “whistle-blowers” who risked their careers, reputations, and their lives to tell the truth…that we ALL can and have given ourselves head-fakes (raising my hand high here!), and to please keep our dialogue going.

So that covers the healthcare base. This same week I received this note from a fellow Christian I’ve connected with through the Spiritual Advisory Board to the Children’s Health Defense Fund:

Which brings us, in my humble opinion, to the scene of the original crime…thank you Horace Mann and John Dewey! Yes, in this very same week I attended the Warwick Valley School Board of Education meeting Thursday night. And that very morning, my friend and CLOTH (Christian Leaders Of The Hudson) colleague had a one hour phone conversation with Matt Hopkins, the founder of Augustine Classical Academy. Matt was the teacher the Christian student spoke the words to in the quote at the top of the page, that turned his head and heart around, leading to ACA’s inception in 2009. I realized as I sat listening to parent after parent address School Superintendent Dr. Leach and the board, that while public education may be a mission field, it has become something more of a mine field over the years. I had this chilling Stockholm Syndrome-like feel watching the parents warm to the people who have ignored science, the law, Constitutional rights of their students, their physical, and emotional well-being, and their education…for VERY large sums of cash. They warmed to them Thursday night because the board appeared to finally side with them on the mask mandates.

All of this comes full circle to the question of discipleship. John Dewey turned the ship away from the Classical Education system that had produced generations of men and women who forged paths of greatness because they had learned to see the world rightly, towards citizenship and vocational training to become compliant worker bees…who have now become very lost and angry bees. The “chronological snobbery” of new is good, old is bad, turns out to be the great lie. As Matt points out, “All education is a discipleship. The question is, to what? We have a great big bow that shoots very straight arrows, because we have an amazing legacy!” I believe its time for the American People to reclaim it! Math to see the world as God sees it. Science to understand the world as God made it. And History to know God’s providential hand working through men over time.

Dear friend, if you have failed to see what God has proven to the hilt by now, then you shall never see. The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ THE Most Dangerous Place In The World

Very rarely do I change the title of the message the day before the message is to be sent because God normally gives me the foundation of the message early in the week, and the foundation holds the title…which was to be, The Band On The Titanic.

However, my iron-sharpens-iron Friday morning Bible Study brothers blessed us all. On average ten to twelve of us gather each week to study, pray, and encourage each other. We were blessed to have two local pastors with us day before yesterday when the subject of truth came up. You see, God showed me in yesterday’s morning devotion that, while there exists an overabundance of Lamb in the church the Lion has gone completely missing. 

Originally God gave me The Band on the Titanic to show me the subtle and nearly invisible evil in most of our churches today. Contrary to the TRUE love of the REAL band on the Titanic who selflessly played to comfort, strengthen, and encourage the doomed passengers, today’s church band plays to manipulate the mind away from the truth of the moment for the preservation of its own self-interest. In fact, they are the invisible tyrants, the very “hidden reefs” Jude referred to, that clear the way for the physical to manifest!

Today’s Christians hear the Ephesians 4:15 term “Truth in love” all the time. And now, the reason why is crystal clear to me. These may be the most easily manipulated words in the entire Bible! Why? Because when we hear the half-truth from the pastors who have extracted the Lion from truth, the tragic result is that we become Revelation 3:15,16 lukewarm vomit. 

What our Friday morning men’s group made me realize is how critical and essential it is for the brethren to allow truth to go where it must, even and especially to the point of our own discomfort, embarrassment, and pain in realizing our errors and mistakes. Because, my brothers and sisters, in that pain God gives us the opportunity for correction. This is why Capital Punishment in a righteous justice system, which one could argue does not exist in the present rogue government horror show we’re living through, is considered a reflection of the loving will of God for the simple reason it brings the guilty to their knees before God faster than a life sentence tends to do. I give those pastors and church leaders willing to step into that light a tremendous amount of credit. I know of three different families in three different local churches that had to make the difficult decision to leave those churches where the whole truth was not allowed…in most cases, because the whole truth is incompatible with the social justice arm of Communism. It reminded me of the upside down version of that famous Norman Rockwell painting of the man standing up at a town or village hall meeting, when a group of concerned citizens showed up several years ago to express our very vocal displeasure with the Warwick Village mayor for throwing the Warwick Police under the Black Lives Matter bus, and all of a sudden this purple-haired lady abruptly jumps to her feet and yells, “This is a Safe Space!”

I’ve got news for the purple-haired lady and the hidden-reef pastors standing in THE most dangerous place in the world, God is turning this world right-side-up and, well, Oswald Chambers says it best…

One remaining paradox—In Revelation 6:16 “the wrath of the Lamb” is mentioned. We know what the wrath of the Lion is like—but the wrath of the Lamb! —it is beyond our conception. All one can say about it is that the wrath of God is the terrible obverse side of the love of God.
